As a starting entrepreneur I have a decent chance to receive a large bonus if I can convince a panel of experienced business coaches of my awesome 💪😉 businessplan.

I put a lot effort in this and I think I came a long way from my original vague and idealistic plans. If I don't get the bonus then I'm still really happy with my personal progress.

Hex 62 unchanging suggests succes. I am curious... Let's wait and see!

Any insights are welcome as always 🤗

H62 shows the transition from the end of a cycle (trigram Mountain) to the beginning of a new cycle (trigram Thunder). It is the period from the end of winter (Mountain) to the beginning of spring (Thunder). During this period, nothing can be done yet; it is the time of waiting. It is also the time of "danger" (H62 is the yang doubling of trigram Water). In the transition from the old to the new,all sorts of things can still go wrong.
Hence the text of Judgment says: "Small things may be done; great things should not be done.". The text goes on to say; "The flying bird leaves behind its song: 'One should not go up; one should go down.'" Success here comes when you fly low not when you fly high.
Unfortunately, the text of the Image also leaves little to be desired:
"Thus the superior person In his conduct is exceedingly respectful, In his mourning is exceedingly sorrowful, In his expenditures is exceedingly temperate."
As I see it these are all indications that expectations should not be too high.
Sorry for being a Debby Downer, but if I received this as an answer I would temper my expectations to receive a bonus and initially assume that I would not get it.

This is my interpretation and I hope for your sake that I am completely wrong.
As always, take what resonates and leave the rest ;)

I see 62. Attention to Details as a description of the final steps that a person should take even when no one will know if they neglect this duty - This covers everything from saying thank you when someone holds the door for you, to giving a body a decent burial even though the person isn’t alive to appreciate it. And so I think it’s a very appropriate description of a tip or a bonus. Something that it would be appropriate for them to give to you but they are in no obligation to do so.

The Image emphasizes it’s not the gift but the thought that counts. I’m wondering if this is saying to have this attitude when you speak to the judges as in saying it’s not the winning that counts because even if you don’t win it has already been a great honor to be able to present your idea before such a distinguished audience, blah, blah, blah?

Or maybe your idea should somehow incorporate the thought that when it comes to giving bonuses effectively there should be some recognition that it’s not just about the $$, Like maybe the last Detail is to project a feeling of real appreciation for the efforts the person made, like a personal note included along with the bonus check?

Good luck with your presentation!

Thank you Hans and Rosada.

I have to admit I did this reading really quick right before I left for my big moment. So I didn't put the thought, research and reflection in it like I usually do. So 62 UC almost feels like a tap on the shoulder from Yi. Like 'hey, where is your usual sense for detail and respect for the process?

First off, the positive feedback would be the first step in a longer process in order to receive the bonus. And I got the positive feedback 🥳

Rosada, yes I created a presentation with a personal touch. And I was relaxed and grounded while doing it. I was still really surprised to get it. I left my house that day with no expectations since I was already quite happy with the results.

As preparation for the jury I did a training to learn how to make a business plan. Making my financial plan was my Achilles heel. My accountant wont know what hit her next time we meet! In the positive sense! During the training I made some valuable connections and possible partners with some of the other entrepreneurs to sustain my project.

All of this was way out of my comfortzone and making the financial plan asked for a lot of attention to detail. Also I had to travel 4 hours for 5 days to get to the training since I lost my car in an accident about two months ago. Somehow this also strikes me a very 62.

Whether I get the bonus or not, it was a great experience and I have grown as a beginning entrepreneur.

I will update this thread!

I got the bonus! It's really quite a large sum. This bonus will help me a great deal to stay afloat while building my practice in the next couple of years.

Some background might clarify the reading.
I am starting up my own practice in counseling and mental health. My 'why' has a lot to do with my own personal story as a survivor of complex trauma. This is how I pitched my businessplan. From my 'why'.

I received positive feedback from the jury in general. Except one jury member who had her doubts because I used my personal story as my unique selling point. When I received the green light for the bonus they explained to me it was my modest attitude while receiving the negative feedback that convinced them to give me the bonus.

I am very grateful.

I just realised something. The name of the bonus, translated from Dutch to English would be transition bonus. It is there to support starting entrepreneurs during their first years of growing their business. Because all sorts of things can go wrong in times of transition from one cycle to the next.

"Small things may be done; great things should not be done.". The text goes on to say; "The flying bird leaves behind its song: 'One should not go up; one should go down.'

I have made quite some sacrifices in order to get where I am now. You might say I am, and will, be flying low in many ways for this year and the next at the very least. Decent progress can be made by attending to the small things, the details. This bonus contains a large sum, but will be given in small monthly sums in order to support me throughout my startup.

I'm glad I was completely wrong in my interpretation 😄 . Good luck with your business.

Edit:I edited my post because it could be misinterpreted.

So Yi told you how and why you'd get it. Your chances are best this way.

Interesting how Yi works.

Congratulations and good luck!
