So there is a friend I haven't talked to in a while after I sent a text confronting them about some issues about the connection. I was thinking of reaching out again but with a voice message this time so they can at least hear my tone of voice thinking that would hopefully ease some of the possible misunderstandings that are there. I asked the I-Ching what would come of it and I got 63.2>5.

Now to get some clarification I asked the I-Ching: What is the best course of action to reunite in peace with my friend as fast as possible? And 38.1.6>40 came out. 38.1 says to not search for what is lost, it will come back in seven days which is interestingly synchronistic with my first question 63.2 which says something similar.

Could it basically be saying that the best course of action is to just let things be? (38.1) And when this person reaches out themselves, (38.6) let go of any distortions I have of them so I may advance with them in openness and calrity? Overall, resulting in the liberation of the current tension within the connection?

Thank you! I also had the insight that 38.6 is telling me that this "opposition" is actually a blessing in disguise. As the current circumstances aren't really my enemy but actually an ally.

When I received this casting it was telling me there wasn’t anything for me to do. Almost as if the situation is already complete in that I didn’t have a lot of control over the outcome. I think your understanding to wait is correct. And then whatever the next opportunity is, to keep your head. Don’t sacrifice yourself but don’t carried away being “right” either. There’s a lot of space here if you think about 38 and 40 together. Take space and give space.
