I wasn’t going to go back into the workforce except as self employed teaching kids yoga but somehow I ended up at 2 job interviews last week.
I got offered one of the jobs but I felt it wasn’t right for me and history would be repeating itself in terms of crappy job environments so I declined.
The other job I’m very keen on but I haven’t heard back despite feeling a instant rapport with the other staff.
Something doesn’t feel right about not hearing yes or no. It was a cold canvass so there were no other applicants but it was just for casual work whenever a shift becomes available so it’s not like they couldn’t just respond and say we’ll call you if something comes up even if they never do.
What do I need to know about the situation (not hearing)

Is it saying there isn’t any work or they actually feel I’m not a good fit for their organisation?
There are changes going on that I didn’t know about before I went in and the supervisor said we’d love to have you working here but it’s not up to her it’s up to the owners.

Looking at this reading further I think Line 1 is saying there’s some Limitation that’s stopping them from
offering me a position so they’re just waiting it out.
Line 2 says that position becomes available and they won’t hesitate to offer it to me and hope I’ll be able to accept it.

Regarding joining them (8), Hold your horses (60) ~ Don't call them (.1), they'll call you (.2).

I think you're seeing the situation correctly ~ just sit tight, for now, while they work through their 'regulations'? The limitation they are working with is beyond your control?

Would being vaccinated for Covid affect the job opportunity?

Thanks for responding radiofreewill! No re the vaccine - we’re not really in an area that’s been affected by it. Not even sure there was a case within 100kms of here but it’s not something that would be expected either way.
Potentially they could be trying to find a way to let an employee go. It was said, when I was there, that they’re unhappy with some of the younger staff and would prefer someone that’s more mature in their approach to the job.

Maybe these two lines describe your two experiences :

60.1 You refused because you can't find your values in a bad environment.

60.2 I think the board is to accept the other job. And not to delay when the time is right, to associate with others, to remain open to proposals. The line corresponds to 3.2 : do not stop in such a good way, let things evolve, grow, germinate... With 8, I think it's going to work, isn't it ?

Awesome thanks Matali!! Yes I think the Union would be a good fit for sure.
I didn’t think of that re it talking about both jobs in their suitability, but that does make sense.

They did finally get in contact a couple of days ago and apologised for the delay.

They're also Limiting how much work they're offering me and getting me to come in for a few trial shifts so I think letting 'things evolve, grow, germinate... ' is the key. Frustrating for me haha but it's right for them so it is what it is.
