Good afternoon,

I have plans to go out of town but there seem to be many factors conspiring against this, but it is technically do-able. I feel the readings I've received are pushing me away from going, but I did want to hear others' opinions.

What do I need to know about going on this trip:
48.1.3.4-58
23.4-35

What do I need to know about cancelling:
64.2.5-12
10.1.2.4-20

What do I need to know about going here instead:
14.4.5.6-5

Anyone?
I asked it again, and received this:

Going on this trip: 11.1.3.5-29
Not going on this trip: 25.5-21

I'm stumped.

I don't mind if these other readings aren't answered, but I would like to know what this means, since this particular reading doesn't appear to be on the forums:

"What is the best course of action for me to take regarding this trip?"
38.2.4.5-42

I asked this with the idea of whether I should either go or not, because I really don't know.

What do I need to know about going on this trip?
48.1.3.4 - 58

Without referring to the text, I'm going to give you my impression:

58. Joyous exchanges with like minded spirits.
This suggests to me there is a real opportunity to share ideas.

48.1 Lost opportunities in the past.
48.3, 48.4 Re-vitalizing.

I think your hesitation about this adventure is coming from a history of experiences of a like nature that didn't go well. I wonder if you've felt taken advantage of as I tend to find 48.1 refers to something that has been cruelly abused, like an overworked horse.
Good news is I think with 48.3 and 48.4 you will find if you do go, you will navigate this recurring energy pattern much more consciously/smoothly than you have in the past. So over all I say while your uncertainties are certainly understandable, that was then and this is now and you are much better prepared.

If you chose to go, go with the intention of having a worthwhile experience (58.) and see how it rises out of your inner resource, your innerself (48.)

I hope you'll let us know what you decide!

14.4.5.6-5

This option seems quite favored , though there's something you need to wait to find out. How does that resonate?

The other option -- in broad strokes -- seems conflicted. I take it that canceling is the better option.

What do I need to know about going on this trip: 48.1.3.4-58 23.4-35
The well, the source of joy (58), contains water not ready to be drunk -- until the well is fixed. And something needs to be eradicated (23.4) before progress can be made.
What do I need to know about canceling:
64.2.5-12 -- 64. 2 -- it is good to break your wheels (cancel) and 5 (this is the superior path). 12 is the outcome -- your original plan is then stagnant, or rendered null.
10.1.2.4-20 -- How can you do it in a simple way without some penalty (10.4),being bitten?

Rosada,

Wow, the way you've interpreted that reading pretty much describes exactly what has been going on.

Our family is up there and we went last year, where we had a lot of problems- to the point where we said that we didn't want to do this again. This year, we are also a little tight on money, and our car is older (we do this trip by car and it's a long drive).
However, we love the area up there and honestly want to go just for ourselves.

Incredibly insightful post, and I will update you on what we end up doing.

loverofknowledge,

That makes sense as well. I interpreted the 64.2.5-12 reading in a similar fashion myself.
I am still confused about the 23.4-35 reading, however.

There will be some penalty in not going, as I have already paid a deposit on the place that we stay at, and the lady who runs the place has became one of our friends, who I know will be disappointed, especially so close to the time that we are supposed to go, if we cancel.

This interpretation opens up my eyes as well. I will let you know what ends up happening.

Hi mholden -- your other plan
14 changing to 5
That seems worth exploring. What's that all about?
Yet, the 5 could either mean : Wait, something else needs to happen first, ---but then go ahead, or wait until a different time. The other plan sounds quite viable.
Btw: when I make several casts , for one issue, usually the first cast holds most information.

I did two more readings.

"What do I need to know about going": 60.2.4-17
"What do I need to know about not going": 11.2.3.4.5-17

Last readings I will post before I give the update on what I am doing.

"What is the best course of action for me to take regarding this trip?"
38.2.4.5-42

I am thinking this answer is advise on how to overcome your internal Conflict (38) about this decision. A part of you wants to take the trip, another one does not want to take the trip. How do you reconcile this different parts and arrive at a decision that you feel good about?

I note that the lines have other characters in them. Line 2 and 4 speak of meeting a "lord" or "man" and line 5 speaks of an "ancestor". Are these characters part of yourself or is someone else going to help you to overcome the inner conflict?

Last question:
In order to go on this trip, I would have to spend the money I've earned from this summer's jobs.
I probably wouldn't be spending it on anything else, and I already have a "real" savings account, so this money is basically meant for me to spend.
However, I understand the importance of saving money and the more money I can save while I'm young, the better.

"What do I need to know about spending my money on this trip": 40.2.4-2
"What do I need to know about saving my money by not going on this trip": 41.2.4.6-51

What is your interpretation of these last two questions?
Neither of them look unfavorable to me.

What is your "most important" consideration at this time?

Technically, I have canceled the trip.

However, the cancellation is not final and I could fall back on my decision. I still really feel that I want to do this, so I asked again:

"What do I need to know about making this trip work?"- 44 unchanging
"What do I need to know about not going?"- 41.1.5-59

Both seem favorable in a sense.

I am wondering if somehow making the trip will allow you to make money somehow. Fo some reason I have the impression that the trip will bring you an opportunity

What about the "here instead " option? If these were my readings I think I would be seriously considering 14.4.5.6

jumpingmouse,

Your reference to "making money" could mean possibly two different things (from my current view).

1. I called the Lady who owns the cottage back, and if I were to go I would be able to go for less money (but also less time).
2. If I go on the trip, I may very well get a lot of artistic inspiration from it and be pro active during and following the trip.

I asked one more thing:

1. Should I say yes to x/go on the trip: 63.2.5.6-26
2. Should I say no to x/stay here: 40.2.5-45

Now I am thinking you will keep your decision to cancel your trip You have more to gain from staying.
63 already across to 26 holding back to gain

There is a reason for you to stay and gather yourself or with others

Definitely not going, there are too many obstacles.

The moving lines in the 63-26 reading were all basically saying not to force this, and that what was "mine" would eventually find me. Well, I have already reserved that same place for this time next year.

The "here instead" option was the trip I ended up taking... I ended up getting a new puppy on it.
I take this as I had to go through a delay (5) of both time and trip expectations in order to acquire my puppy (14).

The other trip was attempted (the main one I was asking about), but there were way too many obstacles. It could have been done if I had left at the time I created this thread.
I don't think doing that other trip would have been a bad thing. In fact, the "here instead" option proved to be quite stressful and uneventful. However, I would have never found my new puppy.
