What's your opinion on Hex 4.2

A while ago, I received Hex 4 with changing line 2 for a reading.

The reading was regarding my chances in receiving a pot of money from a funding body.

Interpreting hex 4 is rather straightforward: a rookie is playing her first game

As for moving line 2:
"To bear with fools in kindliness brings good fortune.
To know how to take women
Brings good fortune.
The son is capable of taking charge of the household. "

My take would be: "just go for it - never try, never fail"

Resultant hex 23: Shed off the fear and learn whatever you need to get you there.


What would be your opinion on hex 4.2?

You asked, "What are my chances of getting funding?"
I think 4.2 is not encouraging for entering a competition unless the judges were particularly looking for beginners to give a hand up. If not, then I think you are being advised to do what you can with what you have now - 4.2 suggests that you can do fine without further assistance.
