Hello all,

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has been helping me through a rather difficult time as of late :bows:

I had a job interview today and one for tomorrow. I need some direction since both jobs "look" interesting. I asked the YI

If offered the job at Faircount, what would happen if I took it?

Hex#22 no changing lines

What does this mean? To decorate.

If offered the job at Florida Home Equity, what would happen if I took it?

Hex# 18 6-1, 6-5 changing into Hex#9

Hex#18 sounds like WWIII, rotting flesh and so on. What would be rotting away exactly?
I don't understand the references made with the father/business. I never had a business with my father.

*Some backround info that may help all of you help me:)

I'm in desperate need of employment. I need a job that will allow me to make several thousands a month, I'm in debt to the IRS, my family, credit cards, etc. I'm looking for a career. Above all else, I want to enjoy what I do and be happy doing it:eek: Yes, I want to be happy!!!

I used to be one heck of a closer/salesman. I feel very little confidence now because of reasons that I touched on in recent posts. But I'm a little fearful. I owe several thousands of dollars to the IRS and family and this is very trying for me.

Thanks,

Hex 18 seems quite applicable in your situation. It is about dealing with some sort of decay that has set in, like dealing with debts. Particularly 18.1 tells about this, so the second job will allow you to deal with your debts.

I'm not sure what 22 unchanging means to you in this context. It is about making things look better. Perhaps it says that you will look better with this job, in some respect?

I see 9 as meaning a sitution where you can be of assistance, like an employee at a job. I find 22 without change lines can discribe a situation that may appear on the surface to be more desirable than it actually is.

Hey rosada & ewald,

thanks for your replies. if both of you received this reading how much emphasis would you place on the changing lines in Hex# 18?

I really have not gotten any real feelings in regards to them.

Hi mirror saw - I'd take both lines 18.1 and 18.5 seriously. (18.5 is apparently about your loss of self-confidence that needs to be boosted.) The resulting hexagram 9 may not be the nicest to get (there is not that much potential), but whether this job is good for you depends on the other options you have. For the time being it will do, or so it seems.

Hey guys,

In regards to my prior questions, I also asked 2 additional questions regarding working for a friend of mine that owns a mortgage company. IF I worked for him it would require a lot of faith that things would work out for me. I want to work for my friend at some point. He would be a great mentor. However, I don't know if NOW is the best as far as timing.

But today I thought to myself "Why not just go for broke and try working for Kirk? You want to eventually work for him anyhow?"

I asked:

What would happen if I worked for Kirk in the mortgage business right now?

Hex# 38 9-2, 6-3rd, changing into Hex# 30

Does it mean anything in particular when you have changing lines one after another?

As I mentioned before, it's going to take a lot of faith that I'll be o.k. in the end. I'm flat broke. I have $11.00 to my name. I was thinking of asking my family for a few $100 for gas/food money over the next month. I figured I'll give myself 30 days to turn it around. If I work for Kirk, it's a straight commission job, so, I do have a little concern. But I'm so broke that I don't know if it really matters at this point. I asked:

If I work for Kirk, what is the likliehood that I'll make money within the first 30 days?

Hex# 41 9-2, 6-4, 9-6 changing into Hex# 51

Whoa! A lot of changing lines. I usually feel uncomfortable with a lot of changing lines!?!!?!?!
