I was talking yesterday with my therapist and she had asked about which person I am in this moment.

I only can think in specific moments or decisions I made but that is who I really am.

the answer to the question Who am I? is hexagram 11

Don't all people is flow? I am flowing in a specific way that I can see. I think people flow in one or another way

I see what you mean, but probably everyone doesn't naturally flow. For instance some might be creatures of habit and might get 32 for the same question.

I had a dream 2 nights ago I was going to some kind of spiritual/philosophical conference on identity. In the room I sat at an oblong table that was scattered about a bit. No one one was actually taking the group though, no one seemed to be saying anything, there was nothing there despite the billing.

From my journal I wrote

"I say 'well' thinking can we not bring the bible into this emptiness where no one is leading or talking about anything so I say 'where's the red/maroon bible?' and I say that in John it tells us who we are, Jesus tells us who we are and it's a wonderful thing. We are children of God. And a woman in a seat nearby, a dark woman says 'it's a lovely idea, do that'. She means we can begin the conference with this but I say I can't because not everyone here is Christian. She says 'Oh I wouldn't worry about that' or something like that, she thinks I should go ahead anyway. It just seems a place to start from. So I do and I make us at the table into a circle rather than all the scattered chairs which were a weird arrangement for a meeting. It draws us together. I start to speak but it is very halting, not easy, and I think the meeting disperses, goes flat and I think "how could that be called a conference, it wasn't a conference".

Why am I sharing that dream with you ? Well first the question reminds me of the dream and I was thinking about 11 this morning as that which moves us through our lives, Flow, even if we do nothing and make no changes it all changes anyway, we're along for the ride. Even if I don't ever leave the room change will happen, I will age, I'm moved along.

Who are you or anybody who is the being that is moved along in the ride ? I think the answer blows apart the concept of there being a very specific you to label as one thing or another. 'You' are in motion, you are dynamic energy, ever changing. The core of your life energy is always there, but it takes on many forms at different times. What is called character is really a coagulation of factors at a point in the flow not really who you are. That may not be what you were looking for from the question but I think you got it

This is also a 'big' answer IMO, you or anyone is part of the flow, a child of God.

And your post made me think of Hilary's 11 on the Incarnation from years ago

I was talking yesterday with my therapist and she had asked about which person I am in this moment.
So she means which aspect of your personality. But personality is not really who one is any more than the coat one wears all winter is one's own body.
I only can think in specific moments or decisions I made but that is who I really am.
Yes, because you aren't static, you're like a dancing atom. You may look and feel static, a person but when you start asking 'who am I' you come face to face with the fact it's an impossible question.
the answer to the question Who am I? is hexagram 11

Yes all people move in the flow and indeed according to what one believes are the flow itself.

If you wanted to know about aspects of your character and behaviour now that's another question but this is a bigger question you asked of 'who am I' and who you are cannot be crammed into definitions, you're alive not fixed.

One name of 11th hexagram is "Harmony", "Peace". Is that you?

The text also describes a person who completes the way of heaven and earth.

I was thinking in this. Which way do I connect heaven and earth? Which part of me is heaven and which is earth. I was thinking in a crack in the ground. My mind is that crack, may be, and I must allow to the heaven express itself in any word or feeling.

It was very touching read your answer. While I read it I was thinking what I can said without add a stain of shallowness

But I ruminated more and notice this sentences
I can't because not everyone here is Christian
This is a part of who I am. I am in conflict with my Christian heritage. Some of my "army" is not Christian at all. But at the end my heritage is only «seems a place to start from».

I am flow or it's the way I need to answer the question from my therapist. I have to flow with my thoughts and action. And it's a flow between the «'big' answer» Trojina mentions and the task at hand.

'where's the red/maroon bible?'
Hi

What is the meaning of this sentence in your dream? I am not familiar with this idea. Is the edition of the Bible? The first thing that came to my mind when I read was Jung's Red book, but I don't think is that because later you had begun to talk about the word of Jesus in John's Gospel (I assume).

It was just what I said in the dream I would guess it was red in the dream because of my associations with red, dark red, life blood, sustenance, meat, food, sacred food. There is no particular red bible I was referencing in the dream although it might also have been because we were in a public and I was thinking one of those Gideon bibles they put in hotel rooms would be accessible there and they are usually dark red.

I replied here as I had this dream and then after, maybe a day after I was thinking about it and I was thinking about 11 and then just after that you posted your question which was identity and 11 so that's why I shared. A synchronicity perhaps or not, I don't know I posted anyway.

It was definitely a bible not Jung's red book which I know nothing of.

Synchronicity is of course a very 11 kind of a thing, the flow flows with me you and everything in it. I don't think I have ever felt before to share a dream that connects to someone's reading in this way.
