Yi and trees: a new podcast

Lauren Hubele, who works with a tree-based natural medicine called gemmotherapy, invited me to join her in a new mini-podcast. It's called Rooted in Change, and there are already several episodes available:

I 'um' and 'er' my way through the conversations to the point that I find it painful to listen to, but the connections and correlations we come across are still interesting. Lauren is great fun to talk with. Do have a listen, and give it a nice rating if you like it!

Am listening to the trailer right now - but something that combines the I Ching and  trees? Obviously perfect for you.

The trailer is 14 minutes and the actual podcast is 20 minutes ! Therefore there is no point in listening to the trailer. How can a trailer be 6 minutes shorter than the actual thing ?

New episode just published featuring heather and Hexagram 61. We're going to have a breather for a couple of weeks now, and come back perhaps with chestnut. Lovely tree if you can get to it before the squirrels.

They did indeed come back with episodes about chestnuts - two of them, for two different kinds of chestnut. Hexagrams 46 and 34.

Those were in early May...Hilary, is this over or just on hiatus for a while ?

I tried to find out how to do this on (a) Spotify online, (b) Spotify desktop, (c) Spotify mobile, and despite various sources saying it's possible as of December 2021, I can't find stars to click anywhere and gave up in exhaustion.

If anyone who actually knows can give directions for this that are current as of now, I'll be happy to...

I'm afraid it's over. The intersection of people interested in the Yijing and people interested in tree personalities was just a little too niche even for us.
