Once I noticed and have been testing that from then onward that a psychological state, a mood of a person who does a cast impacts the cast itself. In short: the worse your psychological state, the less your satisfaction with a cast/the worse your cast.
It's better to do a cast when you are calm and tranquil, not longing for something. If you feel stressed, devastated or worn out by waiting for something or phrenetic aspiration, you'd better refrain from casting.
Did you notice such an interdependence? Thanks friends.
Because sincerity is so important in consulting trying to foster contrived states of calm and detachment are really counterproductive when they are false. You don't only have to bring your nice calm self to the I Ching you can bring all parts of yourself to it. Then your whole presence can make a much deeper connection with the Oracle.
Trying to forcibly induce a state of "calmness" before asking seems, to me, that it would make more harm than good.
