New to I Ching - 50.1 > 14 and 51.5 > 17 Ex-Boyfriend - Its Not So Nice to Meet Ya

I asked the I Ching "What do I need to know about my relationship with my ex-boyfriend?"

Answer was 50.1 > 14

Also asked "Is there anything I need to know about my ex boyfriend that perhaps I am not seeing?" (I was thinking in terms of how he relates to me or some unforeseen danger that may be there)

Answer was 51.5 > 17

Any help interpreting what this means would be greatly appreciated I've put some background info here for those of you that have the time to read it or feel it may be relevant. Thanks in advance.

Am new to I Ching and could use some input on these readings. We moved in together in July, and after a rocky road officially split up at the end of October. We have been stuck living together though, and after the way he has handled the situation, I'm not sure what to even make of this situation. There have been innumerable lies and deception. He has been plain mean on a number of occasions. I feel like he is a total stranger and frankly, I find living with him to be a little unsettling. Because of financial situation am temporarily stuck living with him. Basically, I just want a better idea of what I'm dealing with. Thanks.

Nothing worse than living someone you are not getting along with been there so I feel for you.
50 is the caldron and the first line is talking about cleaning before you cook, like spring cleaning or the getting rid of the dead wood the line also adds advice about if you take these measures you can improve your situation, so in light of what you have said I would start making plans to move if it was me.

I think 51.5 is talking about in your situation possible fighting maybe or possibly the events that have happened lately like a one thing after another scenario but its like these things happen but it has done no real damage at this stage, there doesnt appear to be immediate danger either however if you summarise

If the situation doesnt improve dramaticaly I would pack my bags but saying that plan it first.

Oh yes. That does make sense. Thank you Steve! I think I have more been doing this and . Not intentionally of course, but I had hoped we could at least get on well as friends. Just seems to create confusion though. Start cleaning so the next pot/cauldron is good and tasty . And I am starting to look around for a new place. Hoping to be out of here by the end of January. And yes, there does seem to be one thing after another with him. I think sometimes he is doing it on purpose, and I have just come to expect it. Maybe thinks it will make me move more quickly, but it just makes it difficult for me to get things done. I've gotten better at ignoring it, but sometimes it is hard. I'm certainly relieved that you do not see any immediate danger or serious threat. I will focus more on getting a new place though, because it certainly doesn't sound like things will become more amicable. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you too!

So, I am moved out now, as most of you are aware. In hindsight, these readings were very accurate and appropriate. 50.1>14 was just saying to prepare to move on, and 50.5>17 was a heads up for the continual irritation I would have to endure living with the ex. What he did was try to start things up with me again, and then change his mind, but only to upset me. He never had any intention of getting back together, and after a few repeated shocks, I realized what he was doing. I called him on this about a month ago when I was moving, and he admitted I was right. Even when he was being nice, it was just some set up to shock me. Some sort of childish effort to expedite a move that just wasn't possible. I know how to pick em! Well, thankfully, that is a closed chapter in my life.
