My son is a chef, a good one but is in a dead-end poorly paid job, mainly, I believe due to domestic problems. His partner, now ex, is lazy, manipulative and a spendthrift. He has two children that he looks after much better than their mother does - The reason he can't abandon them, and he loves them dearly. He has them every other weekend and when he returns them there is little or no food in the house so he has to provide some. At the present moment he has £70 to last until the months end and is borrowing from me. I have the idea of a specialised cafe or restaurant that he might eventually own and asked this question of IChing.
What is the potential of LC (the business) if I just give the idea to my son?
Hex 42.1,5 to Hex 23. One Hex seems to negate the other.
Also asked if he could be successful running the business - answer Hex 44.
I'm confused.

I see what you mean when you say that 42 goes against 23, but there is one thing that they have in common - they both speak of being generous to those below. In short, there is good potential in giving the idea to your son.

44 makes me concerned, but after a little bit of thinking, I think the "powerful maiden who should not be married" here may refer to the ex? My best guess it that your son will only be successful when he completely leaves the ex out of the business-making equation and has nothing to do with her apart from when it comes to the kids. I could easily imagine that she would want a piece of that pie once she hears about the business. Does that make sense?

Thankyou

Thankyou kkappa that does make a lot of sense. I just wish my son had left this woman years ago. Thankyou for your help.
