OK. So I have bandied backwards and forwards about B. So, I have had enough, enough, enough. I am going out dancing and enjoying myself and my life goes on. Hes away to Europe now for 3 weeks. When he comes back, if nothing happens then I've already moved on another extra 3 weeks. If something happens, well.... then the Yi was right all along. The fact that so many people turn to the Yi and so many people respond to it must mean that Yi is real and reliable or that there are lots of lost souls out there. Please don't be angry with me for having doubts... isn't it all part and parcel of learning? But its time I took a break from this....

So, my last questions are posted below. Please anyone and everyone, I invite you to put your 2c or 20c worth into this. I have learnt a lot from this forum in the last few weeks and that is, there are so many interpretations that are possible. Every situation has a negative and a positive. Depends on which glasses you are wearing at the time. It all boils down to intuition and that gut feel, doesn't it? Personally, I believe the Yi is there to put on the brakes and to make you really think before you embark on any venture, to ask yourself that extra question before you proceed. If you notice Hilary's responses, she always says the hex points to this and does say this but there is this element of this that could influence that....maybe see this from another view? Know what I mean?

Back to the questions.... interested to hear what you think but B will do what he wants to do regardless of what Yi thinks he should do. He is not a 'realising person' which means that hes not guided by anything more than his own hard head. And I am going back to letting my dreams and intuition guide me for a while. The Yi books are going back on to the bookshelf.

wow, what happened to you, it seems somebody (B) has certainly upset you last night.

Everyone has doubts when things don't go the way we want them to, human nature at work. You are the one who wants to get back together with B, so you have to be patient and hope that your desire will come about but like I said in some of my earlier replies, you should try and file B in the non important section of your life. If he comes back to you, as in a relationship then very good but if he does not, well, it ain't the end of the world (not yet anyway). When he comes back to you as a friend, then you can respond as a friend and take it from there.

Yes, every answer has two meanings, the first is the advice that you should listen to and take into account, the second answer you will find out by yourself when you don't heed that advice. You have a choice here, you can either listen and accept the advice given or you can say sod it. It is not the I Ching that is putting on the brakes, it is your own mind having doubts. When you have doubts you seek answers (advice) on the best possible path to take in any given situation. Like here, nobody has said that he is coming back and going to jump all over you. There is a strong possibility that he will be enlightened by your friend in London but who B chooses to be with on his return is still not clear. The possibility of B talking to you again as a friend or whatever is very high, like all situations where you want something, the only thing you can do is be patient, hopeful and keep yourself happy. You have to wait 3 weeks to see what the outcome of his trip is going to be, so take a break and relax.

The majority of people who consult the I Ching are not really lost souls but people who are not sure of the best path to take in a given situation (they have doubts), they don't want to make a silly and an avoidable mistake. Some mistakes can cost big time, so if you know you are due for a fall if you continue a certain action, then you heed advice and avoid it. You are then a winner.

Well, B has quite a bit of influence over M, I suppose he has been whispering sweets somethings into her ear and she is responding to his calls. It shows that their relationship is progressing nicely at the moment but the posibility of it not lasting the course is high.

Soulmates no, soulmates is the idea of a relationship that lasts for an entire lifetime. This hex is suggesting that after the relationship has started to grow and then come to full blossom, then decay will set in. This is not a soulmate relationship because after the blossoming you must both strive hard to keep it fresh and vibrate. Therefore, enjoy while there is still enjoyment to be had.

Christeen i haven't read all your other threads so if I give an opinion about any answers you have here, they are without the benefit of prior understanding of whats happened with you and B.

Of course it will just be my take on your answers, not a prediction. No one can possibly tell you what is going to happen for sure and even less so B ! I think you head for more sadness if you believe for sure someone is coming back to you just because someone told you so. I also think the Yi does not give full and open access to the minds of others so it will not necessarily tell you what b thinks, though it might if it helps you.

For question 1 where you had 16 I feel could be this.. 16 is about getting ready, making plans, but also can be about building castles in the sky, making plans for things that aren't going to happen, self delusion, false enthusiasm. So I'd say 16 here might be indicating you are trying to think ahead, make preparations about how things may be, which in all likeihood may not happen.

For question 2 if you take it at face value is pretty positive. They currently have a close relationship. However bear in mind its my opinion theres no reason Yi would let you in on others private inner space, so if it were me I would take this answer lightly.

Queston 3. Well it (the question) assumes a belief in soul mates which I don't so you are putting a value into the question there. Again why would the Yi tell you this. Its there for your own growth, it will tell you what you most need to know, not others business. (IMO) However may be the Yi considers this is your business so what does it mean then ?
Frankly I couldn't make a comment on that answer, if I had to I would say it doesn't look highly likley. But then whats a soulmate ? Is it someone you stay with forever ? Whos to say its not someone you spend a week with ?

Question 4, 19 unchanging I find that hard to interpret re your question. I don't find 19 unchanging especially positive, like it promises alot but nothing actually happens.
But thats just my personal view of your answers and with relationship questions the Yi seems to drastically change its position over time - because i guess relationships are fluid things.

If you are going to trust anyones intuition trust your own. Why would you think others know better than you what will happen between you and B ? If you trust others intition more than your own then you really are losing your personal power, your most valuable thing.

Well, hex 42 is about increase but once the increase has reached its limit, then decrease sets in. In a relationship question it would mean the decay of that relationship. They would have to work really hard to hold it all together and personally I don't think they have the stamina for it. It is also very interesting because hex 61.2 indicates a time period around the 20th of November, this then leads to hex 42 which indicates the time around the end of January and the beginning of February. As hex 42 means the relationship has reached its summit, does January/February mean that the relationship will now take a nosedive after this time, what do you think? Anyway, food for thought.

I am sorry to disagree with trojan but I see the answer to question as very clear and precise. I have found on many occasions that the I Ching will give very accurate information about a third party when consulted. Also, questions about B are of a very personal concern to Christeen.

The soulmates questions was purely out of curiosity. I believe soulmates don't just happen. It requires a lot of work and effort and love. So, I am quite happy to let that one go.

Both willow and trojan. It is midnight here and I have just come back from a great night of dancing, no romancing, but fun anyhow.

Yes, I trust my intuition. I was told by someone very reliable that I have the 'gift' of being psychic, that I should never ignore my intuition, never, never. Thats how emphatic he was about it. He also said that my connection to my subconscious will grow and astound me but first I have to make it possible.

My intuition all along has been sort of parallel with Willow's. I am calm now and will sit quietly for 3 weeks or however long it takes. I was told that I willhave my answer re B by end of 2006 which coincides with what Willow says nicely.

I dreamt a few months ago of the number 759 appearing out of a fog. I was bamboozled for ages and sort of still am. But this is the 7th year of my relationship with B. 5 is the number of marriage i.e. 1+4 and 2+3 both equal 5. Or because I had this dream in May, this could be 5 months after may which makes it October. October is also the 9th month after our breakup. Coincidence? Serendipity? Synchronicity? I don't know but why 759??? It could have been any number 111 for example.

In any case...(M as Marge or M as his friend)
1.- Enthusiasm is a good thing, when it is based on reality; but is something dangerous when it is a blind enthusiasm. That is, in my experience, the lesson of 16 qhen it is without change: look if you are misleaded by blind enthusiasm. If your enthusiasm has roots in reality, go ahead; if not, reconsider.
2.- The relationship between B and M (no, this answer is not for ever), is very good. An posible, would increase (or is increasing right now)

about 3 and 4, there are 2 posible interprestations.
a) the answers describe the relation between B and M/you as soulmates; or
b) the answers describe the "idea" of B and M/you as soulmates.

In the first case, answer 3 points to some temptation, so it is better to stop; and 4 points to the need to ascend to next level in the relation

In the second case, asnwer 3 points that idea is a temptation for you, stop thinking in that issue; and answer 4 points that you need to achieve a higher point of view about the issue.

The way I think is closer to the second option, because the question seems to me like a qualification of the idea; and because is congruent with previous answers (at least, in the way I had interpreted those previous answers)

But, honestly, I give you the 2 posibilities I find.
