Q: What is the best attitude towards X?
A: 1.2>13

See the dragon in the field of possibilities. See the great man. As an attitude, 1.2 would have characteristics of what?

I'm stumped. Hexagram 1 always throws me.

Hi, gather together into a kinship group or social collective (13) before taking initiative. It is not the time to take direct action. Find a way to see X within a group. In the meantime, consult with people, and devise a right course of action with X. The initiative is strong, but not ready to be utilized yet.

I found this thread http://www.onlineclarity.co.uk/friends/showthread.php?17833-Relationship-Ended-Prematurely and felt it was particularly enlightening. I wanted to add it, plus a few things ashteroid and Trojan said:

As i was reading line 2, about dragon emerging from obscurity, i thought - "Wow, you have showed him your true nature! You are too much for him".

Then i looked up hex 13, Huang:

What is emphasized here is the importance of political unity and social coherence.

See what's going on here? I think you are incompatible in some way, you just have shown him your true nature and he saw something foreign to him.(ashteroid)

I felt like this hit home. The attitude I should take is 1.2, be the dragon, the creative, showing himself in the "field of possibilities"...as I have come from a 36-time, I should wholly encompass my true nature, while being guided by my higher self. Sort of, keep on doing what you're doing. Yi says, do not be afraid to 'shine your light and allow your spirit to soar and to be seen.' The dragon eventually brings rain. I'm being gifted by my own spirit. This reminds me of the dragon actually being the Holy Spirit. I must align myself with the highest and live it out in the field of possibilities.
