Actually, it's regarding a romantic relationship that doesn't exist yet. So, I've grown tired of dealing with lying, manipulative people. I have a certain type of man I want to meet and consulted the iching and asked - 'what should I do to meet this sort of person?' The result was hexagram 10 changing at line 2 to hexagram 25. Is this saying that by wanting this that I'll be alone, alone for now until I meet this person, or what exactly? If someone could help me with this it would be much appreciated. Thanks so much in advance.

Hi Scarlettgirl
You have grown tired of dealing with lying manipulative people, and you are looking for a change of personality in the people you have relationships with. A different type of person is now being called into you life.

The reading is perhaps directing you to be more calm and assured so that there will be more chance of you getting on better with the people that you meet. In many cases we have to change ourselves to change the people that we attract into our lives. Becoming detached, not unattached, will help you seek the new types of persons you would like to meet.

I think Mike makes an excellent point.

Line 2 depicts a lone soul, but not necessarily a lonely soul. The dark man I interpret as the inner or hidden man. When he's content, the outside follows suit. It's funny, but when we're happy with our life, without someone to complete us, that's when we're most attractive to others, and new people seem to walk into our lives. When we're hungry and needy is when people create a distance. We do it the other way too. It's natural, everything gravitates toward wholeness.

I think that you are asking for the impossible, nobody is perfect and therefore you won't find a perfect man, you are asking for someone that doesn't exist.

So, if you are fed up with disagreeable men, then the choice open to you is to become a spinster or a nun.
