11.2 >36, about reunion, could 36 be about the present?

Hello,
Please kindly help interpret these: asked about prospect of relationship with a particular person (have just separated with him). I got 11 with 2nd line as changing line >into 36. But 36 seems to reflect the current situation so well! Could the 2nd hexagram be about the present or background info? How should I understand 11, especially the 2nd changing line?

Regarding 11 with 2nd line as changing line it's about the 4 ways to overcome difficulties:

forbearing
resolved
vigilant
impartial

thus can one find the way of the middle.
this line is the important line of the hexagram.
*Line 2: Patient in barren times. Ready to wade into the waters when needed. Not forgetting what is far away, companions who are gone. Attaining honor by moving toward a stable center. Shining one's light indeed.


it's interesting. I asked myself almost the same question.

I had very bad results from my soccer I-ching predictions.

when I analized the outcome, I ask myself:
Could the 2nd hexagram be part of the present info?

if all four games will be as I predict them, the answer is yes.

Dear Sk28!

To answer your question from my point of view: The yijing was mostly so kind in the fifteen years of helping me to show me different angles of the same situation when asked the same or almost the same question even often. There seem to be a limitation for six questions in a row - at least to me - (which means in a given period of time in which no big change occurs in the, say, relationship), having his explanation in the six steps of the dragon on his way up to the sky (Hex 1), after which the cycle starts again from a higher initial point.

In trying to answer your question to 11,2 changing to 36: In that case I take for granted that the Yijing means the present situation with the 36. And 11 with the past, and also why the relationship was degenerating (line 2 moving). And the line 2 of 36 could show the way out.
