12.1.2.3 > 1 No time to help

A friend asked me for help with a technical issue around computers. I do not have time to do things like this for him as I have explained before. Today, he asked me again to do some tasks for him and again I said no, but a bit more forcefully than before. He seemed taken aback but he said that he understood. I asked the Oracle for insight on the exchange where I said no to helping my friend with his computer tasks. I recieved 12.1.2.3 > 1. Any insights are welcome! Thanks.

Hi danadanadana,

My take on this would be Line 1 says by again saying no to your friend your 'perserverance' brought you the 'success' in that he heard you this time.
Line 2 - yes he heard and there is no 'confusion' that he could possibly sway you and that for you it has put a stop(standstill) to him asking you another time and for you that is success.
and Line 3 says by you being more forceful in saying no, he was somewhat taken aback by that and made him think twice(ashamed) about his persistance in asking you. But all in all its successful.
No dramas, but yeah maybe he will listen to you next time when you say no.
In my book No means No.

I was a bit concerned that the shame was meant for me, since I refused to help. But I like the idea that this was a successful outcome in that I achieved my goal of not having to do menial tasks for 'friends'. Thanks, Goddessliss! for recognizing my position so clearly.

1 is the tireless innovator, initiator and proactive force. I'd pretty much take that as being you in this case. How much you choose to temper that force, with say compassion or love, is also up to you.
