13.2 to 1 - Self Confidence

Hello All,

Recently I had many troubles and relationship problems and finally i decided to transform myself and in order to do this i need to improve and gain self-confidence. I asked to IC "How can i gain and improve my self confidence" and received 13.2 changing to hexagram 1.
I couldn't interpret this result excactly and kindly ask you to let me know what does IC mean ?

I found the following interpretations on the internet and sharing with you.


Legge: The second line, magnetic, shows the representative of the Union of Forces in relation with her kindred. There will be occasion for regret.

Wilhelm/Baynes: Fellowship with men in the clan. Humiliation.

Blofeld: His beloved (betrothed) is of the same clan as himself -- trouble!

Liu: Fellowship of men in the kinship group (party). Humiliation.

Ritsema/Karcher: Concording People tending-towards ancestry.

Abashment.

Shaughnessy: Gathering men at the ancestral temple; distress.

Cleary (1): Sameness with people in the clan is regrettable.

Wu: Fellowship becomes kinship. There will be humiliation.

Hi arte33, and what a coincidence ! Today I casted 1.2>13 !
It was in my meditation time, when I usually do a reading in order to reflect on it.
Well, since 1.2>13 seems to me much harder to understand than your 13.2>1, I'd suggest that was a reflection of the situation you are in. You said you had a lot of relationship problems, and the line talks about fellowship turning to kinship. That causes you hard time, and it's no unusual. I mean, inside a community there are always issues about the elder members that the new member don't get at the beginning. This is just the same as I experienced when I started my PhD in a research center.
I just wanted to give you a hint about what I understood in 13>1 and how I relate it to a practical situation.

13.2 Richmond: Fellowship within the clan causes regret.

We need to seek our complement, not our likeness, for feelings to become dynamic and resonate with one another.

Without active feelings there can be no resonance between ourselves and others (what is other to ourselves). Any relationship that will open our awareness has to be with something or someone different from ourselves.

There are multiple advice here:
a) Try someone from outside your circle/ethnicity/color/race/views.
b) You will grow after experiencing many different situations, and that will give you confidence.

Go for somebody unusual for you, good luck!
