As a writer, I published some minor books, most of it was contract work. However, right now I'm working on a literary novel. Unfortunately, there is not too much of market left over here for books like that, so before sending my outline to my agent I asked: "What are the chances that my novel idea could lead to a commercial and financial success?" I got 14.4.6>11. Line 6 does certainly indicate some form of success, together with the resulting hexagram, however, even after consulting numerous translations I don't really get the 4th line in this particular context. Maybe someone could help me and enlighten me on this one? This would be highly appreciated.
Right now, I'm just thinking about outlining it - the novel hasn't been written, but the agency would pitch it to publishers, if they would find it valuable. I will come back to this topic again after sending the outline to my agency, but right now I'm not so sure, if I should do so - this was the reason why I consulted the Yi in the first place. Any help would be great:).
