Hi,

I've asked the IC:

"What attitude should I have to M?" M is a small town I sometimes go visit when I'm back home as some relatives live there.

The answer sounds positive but can't get the subtleties...

Thanks in advance for any insights

Be in possession of yourself. You can observe who and what comes into the picture, participate as you choose, but don't be naive. Bradford translates an interesting phrase in line 5: "Their truths resemble commerce."

Hexagram pictures: Ax, Rays of Light

The ax was a store of value in ancient China, and pieces of bronze in that shape were used as money.

Overall judgment: You should see M as a store of values and a creative source.

Possession in Great Measure.
Supreme success.

Small towns possess long memories.

14I
Fire in heaven above:
The image of Possession in Great Measure.
Thus the superior man curbs evil and furthers good,
And thereby obeys the benevolent will of heaven.

Small town traditions have value. "Fire in heaven" suggests sunset is the time to sit on the porch and talk.

Six in the fifth place means:
He whose truth is accessible, yet dignified,
Has good fortune.

Ask your relatives to tell you stories about their earlier lives.

The Creative works sublime success,
Furthering through perseverance.

Make a material record of genealogy and family history.

It suggests that you be friendly and welcoming whenever you are in town, generate an attitude of enthusiasm, so try and love the place.
