thanks, it seems a really reasonable reply! it had already started so i cannot "not" do it at all (stopping it would be a pity because it is working really nicely and people can relate to the output) but, as sort of expected, havng in mind that there is nothing more but just this thing (ie we have a good working relationship/froendship but not romantic at all) is advisable! Was that the question, "How much energy to put into it"? If it was, I think 15.3 > 2 is an interesting answer. Pointing you toward doing something purely out of devotion, not for a particular result. So I would say that if this will disappoint you, meaning not meet your expectations, maybe not to do. You should probably only do it if you're totally ok with not much else coming of the relationship.
One translation of 15.3 reads '... For princes, ultimately auspicious. Unfavourable for nothing.'i wanted to know is how much energy to put into this project

thanks a lot - i like your thought about this (also because the whole idea seems now more positive. i want to be a part of this althoug i will not devote my life to thisOne translation of 15.3 reads '... For princes, ultimately auspicious. Unfavourable for nothing.'
I think that's a very good response, but it hinges on you acting like 'a prince' - which in this instance means approaching this project with a caring and down-to-earth attitude, which feels similar to what was said above ...
'... doing something purely out of devotion, not for a particular result.' .... Or even that it's okay to focus on the 'results' of the project - and this will put you on 'equal footing' with the other person; e.g. Hex. 2 is made of two trigrams (three-line figures): Earth and Earth.
Besides my take on your reading ....
