Could it bê the attachment to a younger person or Child?
Im a bit lost here, woulfd appreciate ur insight..

Certainly 17.2 could be referring to a real child, especially if in your situation you have a child and there is a man in your life who is interested in you but not your kid and you are forced to choose between the two and of course you would make the child your main focus and let go of the partner. However, this line could also be about holding on to someone who is not very mature, maybe not ready for an adult relationship, and as a result of hanging on to this relationship you lose the opportunity to be with someone else, someone more suitable for partnership. Or perhaps you are being told that if you let your partner get away with acting in a childish manner - making up excuses for them when they are late or rude - you are keeping them from being a responsible adult. I hav no Child of my own, neither him, i
dont see the relation, so it might bê referring to childish behavior!
What can u say with relation to the other lines? It seems só positive..
