I’m staying in an Airbnb while I finish my Yoga training. It’s an area I used to live in for many years but left due to divorce. The owners used to rent it permanently to their niece and I’m only their second traveller.

What if I asked if I could live here permanently Hex 17.5.6>21

This looks like it would be good fortune all around.
It’s a place to rest and recuperate and Line 6 sounds like they’d be open to it with a lease agreement.

17.5 is auspicious & 17.6 talks about a retired sage who is called to come back among her people- the line is likely to indicate you.

So, maybe 17.5 and 17.6 are about war, captives, etc. and not necessarily about a returning or retired female sage or yoga teacher:

Imagine - the Zhou King leads his troops into battle and is victorious. At a triumphant celebration - a feast the king is hosting for his troops - he displays the enemies whom he has just captured. He then begins the march back home to the western mountains (the original homeland of the Zhou was in a mountainous region, west of the Shang); along the way he shows off his bound captives in every village he passes through. Finally ... returning home, the King offers dozens of his captives in sacrifice (ritually murdering them), as an offering to the ancestors, gods, and deities who supported his war effort.

As to your reading: here you are also 'returning' to a place or region where you used to live. Perhaps you are feeling 'captive' by your current situation, and so you are inclined to look for a quick solution (17's lower trigram Thunder) - something that will free you from what (or who) is holding you captive.

You are hoping for a joyful outcome (17's upper trigram Lake), but you should consider more than just your 'happiness' as the reason for your move. I'm really enjoying the familiarity with the area, something that's been missing in my life for too long - so many new places etc. and I realise perhaps I shouldn't have left but I understand my mindset at the time I made that decision.
Whilst the place I'm staying is really lovely, I don't think it is actually the right place for me to live, it's a bit small for permanent living,
Later this afternoon the owners of the airbnb said If I ever want to stay again to contact them direct and they'd do a cheaper deal for me.

Today I'm returning home but it brings me no joy at the thought of it. I found a way to tell the Owners I’d be interested renting short term but she just laughed.
There's plenty of work in this area which is another good reason to move back here but, I don't know whether I'd do any good going back into the workforce as it always ends in disaster.
It would also delay my plans in becoming the Kids Yoga teacher I've trained for and there aren't any affordable rentals or places to buy.
I'll just have to head back home and work on it all.....

I never did head back to this place but staying in the area brought me a lot of insight.
