18.6 -> 46 | Stagnation

Good day.

As I start - I am pretty much a learner of Chinese metaphysics - I usually train Ba Zi or Four Pillars - and I play poker for living - one that's based on skill and math - luck is just in short run - long run decides the winner.

So, I try to collide those things in order to gain edge.

As for this day, I'm considering of participating in a really big buy-in tournament, which requires me to loan money.

So, I asked about I Ching for it..

What will be the result of me participating in a tournament (and more specific details bout date time and buy-in)?

Hex I got was 18.6 -> 46. As far as I know, it's good hexagram for making progress, and yes, I am kind of stagnation now - short of money, and can't really make much progress. Still I would risk with money? So what would the reading mean? Should I participate?

If it's a good chance to turn around my life in means of money and experience and social contacts - then it's great, but I don't want to take a loan and bust.

The result is that you will do well, so borrowing the money looks like no problem for you, but as you know how to play then you will know when to stop as well.

This is an old thread, but 46 is Pushing Upward, not stagnation (12).
