Well, being that infind hard to dettach myself from my emotions, and that this man is present in my dreams and during my wake hours and I'm getting a bit confused about what to do, I asked the Yi yesterday:
What should I do about A? (Assuming the Yi is already full of information about our situation and knows perfectly well how I feel, and my doubts and worries and wishes)

19.1> 7

My junior interpretations (hey meng, I keep calling my readings "junior"...):

Everything is going ok, you are proceding correctly (19), the seeds are sprouting, but you have to be organized, you have to you use your strengh and your lucidity to be able to arrive to that state (7).
Now, I do have a problem interpreting the 8 month thing... Does this mean it is going to happen again all this thing!!! Is there a way to AVOID it??? Pleeeease!!! Every woman has a limit!!

19.1 > 7

Lin: Move in closer. Line 1: Find someone to help you. Shih: Have a plan. About misfortune in the eighth month, Bradford has a note on this. When hexagram 19 is inverted it gives hexagram 20, the hexagram of the eighth month. So since your present state is unfortunate, you may expect a reversal to good fortune in the future.

Thank you pocossin!
The "have a plan" bit puzzles me a little... I have to ponder about it. Right now I feel I miss many parts of the story to have a plan concerning A. On the other hand, I could have a plan for myself. Have the plan of being joyful, for example...
Thanks, really.

What does this mean in practice?
What plan should I have???
I was planning to do, externally, absolutely nothing. Internally it is quite a different story...

For me, in the context of a relationship question I would first look at the Sequence of Hexagram 7 from Hexagram 6. Consider some of Karcher's words for Hexagram 6: "express what you feel", "retreat from conflict", "affirm loyalty", "a lover's complaint". (from Total I Ching). Do any of those resonate? And then I'd consider the pair --- Hexagram 7 and Hexagram 8. Hexagram 8 --- "Seeking Union" speaks to what we do when we are in relationship. In Hilary's commentary on this pair she says, the choices "of the Army --- whose work is needed to prepare for Seeking Union -- are driven by necessity: The ends must justify the means." And the I Ching speaks of "Mature people, good fortune -- no mistake." and "A noble one accepts the people and gathers together crowds." (from Hilary's I Ching: Walking Your Path, Creating Your Future

For me the "crowds" are both inner and outer. It includes all of the different parts of myself and the other person/people involved in the question. In relationships, I seek to be led by a mature adult part of myself. But this also requires awareness of little child parts of myself that are needy and react in certain ways. And it helps to recognize that the other person also has these parts and is sometimes led by the mature adult, and other times led by an "inner child".

And looking at Pocossin's comment. Perhaps the "plan" includes finding someone to help you. For me, this would either be getting help from my "mature self" and when I can't seem to do that, finding someone outside myself who can help me get in touch with that part of myself.

A "plan" is what an Army does isn't it? In the context of a relationship perhaps it is about organizing the different parts of yourself to proceed in a useful way towards what you are seeking.

YES! I see Hexagram 19 as being auspicious! And to me, the "Reaching an end in the eight month means a pitfall" isn't about something bad happening in 8 months. It is about the importance of timing --- not planting seeds too late or trying to harvest prematurely. Are you in the planting seeds phase, the weeding and nourishing phase, or nearing the harvest? Perhaps receiving Line 1 as the changing line indicates that you are more at the beginning?

Masaru, thank you for reminding me!
Yes, he disappeared from my mind gradually, by waves he would come back. Then in July it was totally off. By August there was another guy appearing in my life. Maybe it comes to nothing permanent, but still it means i'm totally over the other one.
