"Will he get in touch with me?" After almost 4 months of silence now I'm asking myself if he will change his mind and contact me again.. this is what I got. Anyone helping with insights? Thank you ❤

19.2 - 24 is a feeling of returning to one's friends and family. Would you consider yourself one of his core group? In that case the hexagrams are favorable for eventually reconnecting. On the other hand, if you met while he was off traveling or if you represent someone who is outside of his family circle then it sounds like he is going back to his familiar turf and will not contact you.

Actually the question was a little more complex but I wanted to sum it up. I didn't ask a yes/no question, I focused my attention on the possibility of a development in terms of contact, communication, reapproaching. And, just to let you know, it was an online relationship. I've never met this man. That's why I asked this question, as I'm expecting some sort of approach from him, one way or another. I thought the cast was a good and promising one, but it seems it's not according to your words. I'm very sad. Thank you for your time. E

I had this exact answer many years ago, when my then boyfriend started alienating himself, and I was wondering if that would change back to closeness between us. I soon found out that he had already found a new girlfriend, and was hanging around with her and his friends... Rosada is spot on I'm afraid.

The funny thing is that when one gets auspicious hex the answer is the opposite of your expectations... it's the other way round! Instead when you receive the "bad" ones they're not always that bad.. I'm not professional or any expert so my instinct prevails in interpreting IC. At this point what can I say? Nothing! Just to know... are there any auspicious or "good" hex when one asks about love matters?��I'd be happy to know! Thanks for your take! Have a good day. E

That's why we always need to look carefully at what the answer says. 19.2 says "joint approach" and 24 shows an easy-going life/attitude. Does this apply in the situation between you? Unfortunately not at all. Does this apply to you, are you in joint approach and ease with someone else? Again unfortunately no. So that leaves us with him doing what is described.

Yes I know what you mean, I wondered this many times. My conclusion is that when a love matter reaches the stage where we need to ask the I Ching repeatedly about it, then obviously the situation is quite bad, and so likewise the answers will be bad as a rule. That aside, I've seen positive results (if the advice is followed) with line 9.2, and with 31 unchanging, as two examples which come to mind.

Also when it comes to romance we tend to have very odd expectations. We want soul mates and total lifetime commitment! As Dylan put it, "Someone who will die for you and even more (No, no, no it ain't me Babe!)". These expectations are so incompatible with reality that of course we get negative comments from the I Ching when we ask about "love".

It is also true that love is a noble feeling and what's more than love? That's why most of the people ask about it... as a matter of fact love makes the world go round! So... it's like continue dreaming and hoping and people just need it. People need love and need to love and IC gives you hope if the outcome is decent. Then it's up to you and up to your intelligence to assess the right balance between dream and reality. It's like believing in God. There are people that would be lost without someone superior to believe in. It's their only hope, it keeps them alive. I'm not comparing God to IC of course... I'm just saying that it feels so good when you believe in something that gives you hope and strength to go on in hardship. Don't know if I made this point clear☺Anyway I don't want to give up!
