Tomorrow the United States Supreme Court will announce a ruling on the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act. I asked whether it would be upheld/struck down/other & received hexagram 2, lines 2, 3 & 4. Since the resulting hexagram is 32 I would interpret this as an indication the Act will be decreed constitutional, at least in substance, but would be interested to hear other opinions.

As my company's benefits administrator, I receive a lot of propaganda from our primary insurer suggesting the Act will lead to stratospheric premiums, etc. In fact they are already extortionate & in no danger of becoming less so, whatever the Court decides.

Starting with receiving and carrying on with duration makes me think the I Ching is saying it will be upheld.

What was the ruling finally?

It was upheld. Actually, one part of the Act (a mandate requiring all states expand their Medicaid coverage) was struck down while the rest was ruled constitutional.

I've heard the ruling described as a victory for the White House on three of four major points, and wish I had sufficient understanding to know how the three lines in hexagram 2 specifically apply. The Yijing always dazzles with this type of question.
