I had a deleted reply here.
My point is clear: when you ask a question, you want an answer for that very question. Here our method is using I Ching.
That said, sometimes I see posts that don't analyze the cast regarding the OP's question & situation, instead:
Some have happened to me, some to other members. I see no need to cite samples, as my point isn't to accuse/dismiss people. I'm simply talking about what I find relevant and what not.
- tell directly or indirectly that the question is absurd/wrong and better not asked at all;
- want the querent to ask about a whole other matter (different from reformulating the question or looking at the situation from a different angle. Example: "Instead of asking how to improve your guitar skills, ask how to pacify your soul so that you don't need to play the guitar at all");
- give answers based on the things that don't exist in the cast/situation;
- shame others for what they think/want (in a "polite" way more often than not);
- attack others based on personal views (again, in a polite way);
- use matters from the querents' past in a way that shadows the present question & situation (different from considering the querent's portfolio while answering. Example: "Last year you weren't interested in cars. How it comes that you want a driver license now?" Maybe asked out of curiosity, but irrelevant to the analysis of present situation);
- forget the question and analyze the cast about other things;
- ...
.....we're not robots "I must look at the reading I must not look right nor left nor past nor future I must stay where I am put'& join up all details about my life
want the querent to ask about a whole other matter (different from reformulating the question or looking at the situation from a different angle. Example: "Instead of asking how to improve your guitar skills, ask how to pacify your soul so that you don't need to play the guitar at all");
But that's not what I've talked about. I never said be mindful or what to write & what not. I just said, as a member of an I Ching community, in a forum titled "Shared readings", I focus on the casts and readings and respond to posts with similar approach.I'll be mindful of not saying anything out of context but know whatever I've said is because I feel your pain.
Okay I'm done too, like Trojina....I wish you the best Mary, I really do.But that's not what I've talked about. I never said be mindful or what to write & what not.
