23.5.6>8 if I reach out to talk

Hi all. Could you please help me figure out this reading? A few years ago I was introduced to someone who I might do business with. We only emailed a few times but never met nor even phone called. It seemed a bit promising but then things changed on my end and we just somehow fell out of contact.

The weird part is, it seemed like we got some inexplicable third party interference from the person who introduced us. I am no longer in touch with either person. If I were to reach out to reestablish contact with the potential business contact and maybe zoom video meet to talk face to face and clear things up and see what we might be able to do in business, what would be the result?

23 confuses me because it says it is not the time to act but lines 5 and 6 seem positive and so is 8 for my situation. Except since if you are late to join in hex 8, it is unfortunate. So maybe the hex tells me to not contact? That against the background of my attempting to join together, things split or fall apart? And it is been over 2 years since this all happened which ties in with being late in hex 8. What do you think?

I think you are at the end of the stripping away and lines 5 and 6 are telling you to consider the unused resources. This may or may not be the people you had intended to contact before, but I don’t see any harm in reaching out so long as you don’t put all of your eggs in that basket. If that does not work out there seems to be advice in 8 that it is good fortune in Seeking Union, so maybe a different opportunity will pop up.

Thank you, MuddyMac. I decided to not contact this person (yet?). I'm in the process of figuring things out in a direction that feels right for me. 23 is a puzzler for me, though, so I appreciate your input.
