24 unchanging. Return to what?

Hi,

I am hitting a wall in my career and everything I attempt fails. I am considering an exit, so I asked the ultimate question: why I can't find success in this profession? 24 unchanging.
Turning point: Is it a validation of my intention? (you finaly get it!) My heart is aching because of this thought.
Or Return: is it pointing that I am returning to the same way of thinking that is sterile?
Or, I need to rest like a seed waiting for thunder to arouse it.
This idea is appealing but I can't affroad it.

Yi's answer about my aptitude was 14.2 to 30, I have the means to succeed and gain support because of the passion I ignite.
And for the actions I was taking and having no other cards to play, I got 18.2.3 to 23. I must change the old patterns of thinking and feeling. And hex 23 is describing the lack of options if I continue in the old path.

I am going through a very hard phase in my life, internally and externally. So thank you for taking the time to read me again.

24 follows on from 23 and so the nature of things is that there is an energy of reversing matters after you have been through a cleansing period. Something is bubbling up under a deep influence of hex 2 (nuc) which evokes a core sense of nurturing, nourishing and being open into your world. That is, in the long term, all you are experiencing now will be viewed as beneficial to you.

You could even say that 24 carries a strong sense of rebirth and advocates, in the image, that the most effective way of allowing what needs to emerge to emerge is to close the gates, i.e. making the boundaries you hold secure; not to trade or bargain in any way; and certainly not go anywhere beyond the confines of your safe inner world.

This, it seems, is not a time to go anywhere or do anything. Just allow the transition you are experiencing to come to fruition and so allow what was once in your world, but had become lost to you, to return. When that has returned you may well be better positioned to find access to the type of success that will serve you best.

... of course there may be other interpretations that attract you more strongly that this one.

I guess you've asked many such questions lately, I remember a recent thread of yours for instance. I'd say the cast says don't think about it for the moment, close the doors, take a rest.
(I receive 24uc in emotional states after asking too many questions about a matter I've been already given the answer for).

Corruption of (ancestral) mother and father. A pattern with its roots in the past- family, education, culture, experiences, etc- makes obstacle on your way to succeed. What to do? Don't be too forceful in solving it (18.2), don't be shameful either (18.3), detoxify [Bradford's chosen title for 18] the situation little by little until you strip the corruption away (23).

H24 is the hexagram of renewal and return of life force, the vital energy.
H23 and H24 together form a pair. H23 is the end of the cycle, the yang line (life force/vital energy) at the top position is squeezed out by the other 5 yin lines, in H24 the life force makes its reappearance at the 1st position. It is the beginning of a new cycle.
Below the surface of the earth all kinds of activity is going on, like seeds germinating, but above it seems as if nothing is happening and everything remains the same. This is the image of H24, change is happening but it is not yet visible. The nuclear hexagram of H24 is H2. Which in this case can be seen as accepting the current situation as it is and allowing yourself to be guided, having a following attitude rather than trying to be active.

The text of the Image of H14 says more or less the same as the nuclear hexagram H2 of H24: "Obey the beneficent will of Heaven". In other words, do not take the lead, but let yourself be led.
Heaven changes to Fire through the moving line at the 2nd position. Wanting to be in control of the situation out of fear and/or uncertainty that are not based on real facts. Fire gives the advice to face your own truth. Connect with that which defines you as a unique person and let that be your driving force. Be aware of your inner fire, your passion.
The text of this line shows a similar image. There is a great wagon that can carry many things, in other words don't doubt your qualities and talents. But a wagon does not move by itself, it follows the horse that pulls it.

Related to your question, this is about letting go of wanting to take action.
The wind is blocked by the mountain, no movement is possible. H23 is indirectly about letting go of control, the collapse is inevitable in this hexagram. What has to collapse with you, as it were, is the desire to do something, to take action.

This would be my interpretation. As always, take what resonates and leave the rest

I've always found hex 24un to be a Turning Point or Return to self.
Sometimes just by Returning to our grounded self we find the answer.

Reads to me as if to say you have the means to make the changes and adjustments advised in 24. Return.

Knowing by experience what does hex 24 mean was a prerequisite in my case.
