One week to go (anxiety). Please advise me, what should I do? (Implicit for my wellbeing)

So, i am under some pressure. What’s going to happen?
So great restraint makes a lot of sense. There is going to be some kind of “closure”, either by him or by me.
And decrease can be the context (decrease of contact, distance, or decrease pf expectations). But ot could also be a kind of “flop”.
But I can’t figure out the line...

The line speaks of two horses chasing each other, in other words: flirt with him.
41 shows the poor one increasing the rich one.
Is he seeing someone else? because the line also speaks of unhitching the carriage (= relationship).

Even if so, just give, and flirt with him. Not sure why the advice is so, but that's how I read it.

update: the week has passed and no contact from him.
he once said, without me asking anything, he would need 3 to 6 months to solve his problems. these 6 months have gone by and i am changing my mind about him.
i don't want somebody who is not able to act according to his words. "i adore you" has to have a meaning.
apparently it doesn't.
so decrease here was decrease (frank decrease) of expectations.
to decide what i want to keep and what i want to give away.
i left facebook, cancelled his number of my phone and i am working on cancelling him from my mind too.
i can do it.

Thanks for the update deusa.
This is a classically tricky situation. I bet that if you had flirted/played with him, there would be further activity between you two. Saying that, you clearly aren't after hunting games. So, although 'games' would have yielded some result, the result would still not be good enough regarding what you're after in essence. He was obviously after such games only. Sorry to hear it didn't turn out how you wanted it to - I know how painful this can be. Wishing you great luck with the next guy

There was no room for games because he specifically asked me not to contact him now.
So I couldn’t and wouldn’t.
