28.2.3.4 to 8 - twice!

Hi everyone,

If you recognize my name, it's because I have posted about before - and about a relationship with someone special to me. Today, I asked the Yi two questions, not consecutively, and I was given the same answer! Seeing this, I HAD to post it and ask for some help with the interpretation.

Here is the situation. She and I are attracted to each other, but both not yet ready to move forward with a relationship. Knowing this, I asked: What will become of the relationship between "her" and I? The answer: 28.2.3.4 changing to 8. I asked soon after (but it was not the next question) Will "she" and I be in a committed relationship?. AGAIN, the Yi answered with 28.2.3.4 changing to 8.

I know that a judgement of hex 8 is a good sign. BUT, I am concerned about hex 28.2.3.4.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Just in case the comment could be useful

First,remember a previous answer about the posibility of relationnship. It was hex 1. Now you are in line 6 of that answer (you'll be in this line until June 16). A dangerous one. If you hadn't achieve the goal in line 5, something had missed. Now you need a great precaution, otherwise,the whole effort could be lost. Do meditation about the advice of line 6 in hex 1.

Now, 28 seems to be in accordance with that. Emotional tension, a risk that everything fall apart. There is a way out from this situation: renewal of the entire process (line 2),not by force/stubborness (line 3) but by a friendly aproach (line 4)

Be aware that the image of 28 talks about a man that remains still when is alone; and hex 8 in terms of relationship is more about friendship than romantic partnership. Something to thing about.

Hexagram 28 has to do with stepping outside your current limits - maybe because those limits can no longer bear or contain the intensity of your experience.

Hexagram 8 has to do with actively choosing where you belong, and with whom, not sitting on the fence.

I think that to some degree, at least, Yi is throwing the question back at you. Clearly being attracted and not moving forward is not a sustainable situation - something will have to change. Not knowing the situation, I'd guess that about 50% of that is for you to choose...

Thank you Hilary and Jesed. I appreciate your responses.

Can you shed some light on these for me? I asked, "What are the romantic prospects for the relationship between "her" and I?". I asked twice. The first answer was:

26.1.2.3.6 - changing to 2

The second answer was:

26.3.6 - changing to 24.

As with the previous inquiries, I am getting similar answers (to be expected, I guess).

Please let me know what you interpret these to mean.
