I feel like I've come full circle kind of. In 2009 I lost all that was precious to me and became highly distraught but at the same time went into survival mode and became a psychic reader and tea leaves was the tool I used but after a few years I stopped doing it. The last few months has seen me having to go back into survival mode again after my life dreams became an ongoing nightmare.
I've decided to get out of the industry I was working in and feel drawn to going back to my psychic readings or the alternative is to work in aged care.

I've asked 'what job is best for me to work towards'

To catch the bird of brightness

Lí, hexagram 30
To catch the bird of brightness
Moments fly past like birds. You will have to catch them right now, to enjoy something when it happens, to seize an opportunity, to realize a flash of insight. Life is full of those bright little birds. If you can seize them and care for them, they may turn into big things, feeding your life and soul. The sum of all those small things will make your life to a bright and shining one.
The mind can discern and catch those moments. It filters out what is not relevant by letting it slip through the net. The Bright Birds are what is relevant and visible.

I feel this describes what happens in a reading - Flashes of insight that I catch and release as quickly as they come....this is also reflected in Line 4 nothing takes root they are just fast and light moments of thoughts that are not retained and of no eternal value for me.

Does it have to be one or the other? Hexagram 30.4 - hexagram 22 makes me think you might first be briefly drawn to one field but it doesn't last or it doesn't provide a real income. That sounds to me to be describing the psychic readings. Can you do the readings now while also pursuing the elder care option?

Thanks rosada - I think it also means I'm going from one idea to the next about what I want to do....I guess I'll just keep meditating until things become clear.
