30.5 into 13?

Hi Sabs,
Would you mind giving a bit more info for asking this question in the first place? The text itself only provides part of the picture. Without any background information, it's very difficult to form an interpretation that's truly descriptive.
30.5 describes someone in tears, this has something to do with the fact that in combination with line 3 and line 4, the trigram is dui (or the lake), i.e., lots of water. But because it's also sitting in between two yang lines (the 4th and 6th), it's the centre of the flame, it appears to be auspicious.
My experience with 30.5 -> 13 varies every time in terms of which part of the text as the most prominent metaphor. Once, I did end up in tears. It happened quite unexpectedly, even after I received the line and pondered over it a little bit. And it wasn't a particularly happy or auspicious situation I was in, with the exception that I did stay away from a possible confrontation (i.e., 13).
It is not my intention to scare you. I just want to illustrate that it is important to fit one's situation with the text and to interpret the text from different angles. For example, what is the state of the relationship? Are you considering establishing contact? Etc. etc. These questions may help you interpret the symbols better.

Here's the situation: I was in a a very intense relationship with this guy, more intense than any I've ever been in. However, I was very needy at the time and felt I needed more from him. I broke up with him (a few years ago) and was very mean during the breakup; I hurt him very deeply and we have not spoken since we broke up. About a year after we broke up I underwent a radical inner change and grew to regret what I had done. I tried to contact him but was totally ignored. I don't think I am going to try to contact him again, the question was more so asking if he will be in my life again.

The IC reading seems to say that your heartfelt tears, 30.5, should lead to Friendship, 13. However, that's hard for me to imagine, based on what you've said about his not getting in touch with you by now. Perhaps the IC is saying that although he did not choose to contact you, he realized your apology was sincere and he holds no grudges, that he has a sort of friendly feeling towards you, even if he doesn't feel to make closer contact.
Saturn retrograde in Leo, the sign of Love, is supposed to be encouraging people to look at past relationships very realistically just now.

I think it's affirmative. However, it'll involve a lot of emotion, or require a lot of work, or both. But whether the relationship turns romantic again, or whether it settles into a friendship, the important issue right now is to deal with the unfinished business of the emotional center now.
