He's a friend of our family and I see him occasionally on events. I only talked with him superficially. Recently he caught me off guard and expressed his feelings for me.
Since then I've changed the way I see him but it's kind of inappropriate situation and I'm thinking it might only be sexual attraction.
My question is where this is going? 31.2.5>32

31 and 32 are in sequence with each other, and also each other's paired hexagrams (when you turn one upside down you get the other). Both of those facts mean something in the I Ching:

'The dao of husband and wife cannot fail to last, and so persevering follows. Persevering means lasting.' (The Xugua, the Sequence Wing)

'Influence calls, perseverance is long lasting.' (The Zagua, the paired hexagrams Wing)

However - I do not think this means you're necessarily guaranteed to marry and live happily ever after, although who knows, you might.

For one, right away you have doubts. You need to listen to them.

For two, look at the moving lines, which are the most important parts of any reading:

'Influence in your calves, pitfall.
Staying in place, good fortune.'

I think those are saying for a relationship to move from attraction to something enduring, things have to happen correctly. For one, don't rush it (line 2). Also you'll both have to be firm that this is what you want (like setting your neck and shoulders towards something, line 5).

Also, the two lines are the centers of their respective trigrams, which might mean what it seems to mean - make sure you're centered. For instance in line 2 that means "staying in place," not getting ahead of yourselves.

I don't want to be negative, though. You asked where this is going, which is pretty close to what potential is there. 31 changing to 32 certainly could have potential - 32 is a marriage hexagram.

It's just it might be too easy to make that assumption and not pay enough attention to the advice in the lines.
