Recently I was left in financial dire straits because of an organisations dishonesty and I’ve applied for financial assistance from the government but still waiting for that application to process. In the application I added a document of proof that I’ve been medically diagnosed with PTSD and wondering if the government will change the financial assistance to ‘sicknesses’ payments instead, assuming they will agree to financial assistance for me.
What do I need to know about being granted government sickness benefits

Line 3 - There is the ‘affliction’ of my finances due to dishonesty but I also received some support from another organisation and a social worker who also put in a supportive document re my application (nurturing servants and handmaidens)
Line 6 - Doesn’t look like it, looks like I just have to deal with being in a difficult financial situation.
