35.4 > 23 Regarding Someone's Feelings

Hi,

Can someone shed some light on line 4 of hexagram 35? What could it mean regarding someone's feelings for you? This may sound stupid, but can it somewhat relate to some hidden feelings? It talks about something that comes to light.

35 is progress. This hexagram is like portraying a ladder so that you can climb up. There will be progress in this, you two might get closer.
however line 4 depicts a rushy advance. One of you become impatient and make the situation dangerous

Hex 23 is splitting apart. It's like a ladder with only 1 step at the top, you cant climb up and further more it will split apart. Things wont be so smooth in the future and there's a possibility that you two will part. Take note of it and be careful if u still plan to chase.

Thanks, altair139. Wow! That's crazy because it describes EXACTLY the situation that we are in at the moment. He will be away for 5 weeks and I got mad before he left. We kind of have an on and off relationship. I don't even think that we can call it a relationship honestly. We're trying to be friends, but but of us are really attracted to each us. Some things happened this week and, I didn't get mad, but it got cold between us for a day. So, he apologized and told me that he likes me and that it scares him. When I tried to get his statement clarified, he was kind of avoiding the subject. I'm not sure if he was saying that just to make me feel better or it there was more to it. That's why I was asking about possible hidden feelings.

When I asked the I Ching, I asked "How does he feel about me at this point?"

Thinking about you sets his mind to racing back and forth, just the way a squirrel doesn't run in a straight line but runs to the left, then to the right, and so forth. Furthermore, he doesn't know what he's thinking; he's so confused.
