35 unchanging - How do I usually appear to others?

This one has me stumped.

The image shows the sun rising over the earth. The advance of conciousness. The ego and Self are in accord.

On Jamed DeKorne's website I found something that resonates with what I am going through on a personal level right now:

For example: an untrained dog will instinctively chase and kill sheep if it gets the chance to do so; on the other hand, a properly trained dog will herd and control a flock of sheep even in its master's absence. Anyone who has observed a trained sheep dog in action knows what amazing feats they accomplish with great joy in the performance. They are "tranquil" in their role, and will even protect the sheep from untrained dogs that would kill them. When our instincts have learned how to tranquilly accept discipline they are ready to assist us in the higher levels of the Work. Until that time, the Work consists largely of "dog training." The analogy is apt, because just as an untrained dog is never as happy in its willfulness as a well-trained dog is in its purposefulness, so undisciplined permissiveness cannot compare with the joys of controlled power and focused intent.

In september I will commence a new life as a student, I have been at home since june when my last contract as a recruiter ended. I have been restless since then, trying to enjoy the tranquility before my life will pick back up again. I do enjoy the calmness, but there are also days I feel frustrated because of lack of focus, I feel a bit lost and aimless, on a personal as well as on a social level. So, like the untrained dog I feel unhappy in my 'willfulness'. My studies will give me a sense of purpose again, hopefully with purpose tranquility will follow.

But even though I like the message in this reading, I don't think it provides me with the answer to my question. As often happens when I ask the Yi

I have been through so much the last 5 years which has caused me to transform as a person. I used to have a broad social network but through the years only a couple of really close friends remained. I am a loner by nature, but I also enjoy the company of others at times. There are days that I feel lonely and a bit isolated. My friends are there for me when I need them, but I feel the need to start expanding my social network again, hoping to meet other like-minded people.

This is probably why I wondered how people perceive me. Maybe the answer can help me in my search of like-minded people.

All insights on this one would be much appreciated, as always :bows:

An awfully awful person !!! Kidding, not that I would believe you could believe it, lol

An image comes in mind is the sunrise and from your sayings you are in such a stage. There is light but it needs time for the sun to rise and illuminate the sky. Yi seems to remind your good qualities and that you are in a stage of expansion. What you emanate is something positive, warm . You are in a transition and what you describe is normal, imo. Maybe that obscures you to see your light hence questioning how you appear to others. I'm sure you will find the like-minded people. Sometimes we change interests and our current friends can't follow us so we need to expand our cycle. In the meantime, those feelings and thoughts and that 'gap' is not always joyful but its just a phase.

An awefully aweful person

The idea of the rising sun, slowly illuminating the sky, being in a stage of expansion is heartwarming. Transitions are never easy, and lately I have been feeling out of sorts because of it.

Are you familiar with astrology at all? Am wondering if maybe this is literally a description of your birthchart. Your Sun conjunct your Ascendant, Sun in first house, or even Sun in 7th house or conjunct your Descendant, since (I think) the 7th house also affects how we seem to other people, how we relate to others. (If your sun is in an earth sign, then it's even MORE literal .)

Of course, if you don't do astrology, then toss this out, since I don't think Yi would give you an astrological image that you couldn't possibly recognize.

In any case, I think it's a nice reading . It might also mean that people see you as someone who progresses smoothly through life, maybe as someone who makes things look easy. It doesn't sound like that's how you experience it, from what you're saying - but there are people who somehow make difficult things look easier than they are, if you know what I mean. You feel a bit lost, but maybe everyone else thinks you have a well-oiled plan?

That's an interesting way of looking at it! However I am a Scorpio ascendant Capricorn sooo I guess my descendant is Cancer? It's been a while since I dabbled in astrology so I might be off here ^^

Not sure how to apply this towards this reading though, but I think it's worth looking into. But alas, I merely know my basics in astrology.

It's def not something I do on purpose, but people tend to think of me as either someone very confident or very arrogant. Only the ones truly close to me know this is a wrong assumption. I am an easy talker, very communicative and when I enter a room I am used to heads turning towards me. Don't get me wrong! I never consciously seek the attention, but I got used to it while getting older, it's just something that's part of me.

Yes, if your ascendant is Capricorn, your descendant is Cancer. So none of that fits, and I don't think Yi would go out of its way to give you astrological imagery when you aren't terribly familiar with astrology.

I'm not sure what to make of the reading now. If people think of you as confident and walking a smooth life path, as you say, that might fit 35uc. But if what stands out to people is your ability to communicate...communication, per se, wouldn't be 35uc, I don't think. So the 35uc probably means something other than that.

How I communicate is my way to reach out to others, but I don't believe it is necessarely an answer to my question.
