After breaking communication with the man, I still haven`t sent him some things I was in process of obtaining, I feel they need to be sent anyway... With it I wrote a letter- a few things to sum things up from my side as I need to give it some dignity and perspective.
I was wondering about timing, has time to send passed/late? Hex 37.5,6 > 36 (Been a month and a half or so)
I think line 5 is describing a situation where someone has pulled back to be a ruler in his own (inner?) kingdom, but not sure what to think of the last line in this context..
I am still not over the whole thing, so would like to know if anyone had some experience with this casting...:bows:

No, the time has not passed if you really want closure on this matter. I think you are ambivalent. You would like for him to return and have tremendous psychic energy invested in him, but his conduct tells you that the situation you dreamed of is impossible. Note that lines 5 and 6 terminate the situation you rightfully desired, and hexagram 36 well describes the darkening you feel now.

I do not experience hexagrams empirically and so cannot answer in that way. In looking at 37 I see a tree ☴ with a wind chime ☲ in it, and I see hexagram 36 as an infant inverted, that is, the discomfort of weaning, which is your situation now.

Thank you for your reply Tom. I hope all is well with you-you never complain.
I think I am calmer now, very coldly awoken from the dream that was not mine to begin with.
Investing a lot of energy into something that was making me smile among all of the grayness at this very low point of my life was a sign of weakness I allowed to happen but I am paying for it now.
I think I pretty much understand what was the issue now (according to what I was let in the know).. so I think an reasonable person should act accordingly. Too bad there are no such 2 people in this story ...as I am not myself anymore, this all clearly proves that. I think we both care but are quite in a bad way now, disappointment prevails on both sides.
I did ask what I actually need to do about him - hex 3.4,5 into 51
which I read as a "go ahead" for this but yet another shock will send me straight to the doctors with pretty stripy jackets.

Personally, I find to understand the best lines I got, so can say something from my own experience or sometimes just have the summed up idea after reading the text....but it will take a lot of experience.
For this one, I see 36 as a current state of affairs, 37 structuring being made where possible-within one own personal circle/clan and line 6 telling of the need of an reality based and moderate tone for the letter perhaps: the subject of it might degenerate into stern severity, but he is supposed to be sincere, complete in his personal character and self-culture(Legge)
