Hi all I had interesting reading, I have a new employee that has fitted in like glove to hand its been a real breath of fresh air , he has nearly all the skills needed for his position, however and isnt it always the way he will be heading back to england in 6 weeks as he is in a relationship there.

So asked the i ching should i put on an extra worker now 41.6 > 19,

I found the answer very favourable in saying yes, The interesting thing though was that the Yi suggested he doest have a home but many followers , the thing is I work from home and there is people coming and going all the time so basicaly its half an office half a home.

I am willing to put up with this it stabilise's my business and helps it grow with lower overheads.:)
Maybe the yI was saying yes but its like another person taking up space so this is the downside

the person would not be as skilled because it would be hard to find someone like him i would be waiting for ever if i was that picky.
I would plan to train them and they would learn from him, the reason I asked the Yi is that i was concerened about cash flow and was slightly worried about the repercussions and also dont want be left to start again when he leaves

Please feel free to add comments

Cheers everyone

Steve:)

Hi Steve
It sounds like you have given quite a bit of thought to how you are going to manage the transition now your current employee has given you notice of his leaving. It looks like you have developed a good plan in your own mind after having considered potential financial and resource constraints.

So asked the i ching should i put on an extra worker now 41.6 > 19,
41 - Decrease - a time of restraint, perhaps of yourself and your more fanciful or even forceful inclinations. So look at what it is that is firing your enthusiasms up or firing up your fears about this situation and then rein that back a tad. Go forward with restraint. ( From what you have posted this seems to be what you have done - considered from many perspectives)
41.6 - Keep on doing what you are doing, taking into consideration the wants and needs of others and all will be good.

19 - Approach..... things are coming together that will put you in an overall better position. There may be some swings and roundabouts, that you have to contend with, but in many respects you will be feeling overall much better. Things will have worked out for the good.

Your question specifically asks about "now" , so my take is that this is a confirmation that providing your thoughts have been in keeping with wisdom of 41, then your planning ahead in this way ,(19) preventing an adverse situation in a few months time, will be to the advantage of all of you.

Line 41.6 says yes, hire another person to take over when the other guy leaves because it seems that business is going good for you, and perhaps the next new man will also be a productive worker.

Hex 19 This just backs up what I have said above, that it will prove to be the right thing to do, to hire extra help.

Thanks Guys
Yes it was pretty much how I see it, perhaps where the line says many servants & no home is not relevant in this context, however i couldnt help thinking that I feel like that sometimes but as I mentioned this is the way it has to be for now.

Thanks again
Steve
