42.1.2.3.4 > 44

In terms of the two teams coming to meet, the final match, the stanley cup just one game away, so close they can almost grab it, we see...

42.1
The first time in forty years! (if they win) out of the series van 3 games , bos 3 games thus the 7th game is on!

42.2
I agree I think they will win

42.3
The last game playing away the ref constantly gave van a hard time. Boston scored 4 times in first 10 mins.

42.4
Now the game is in their home city.... go canucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:mischief:

The shell is cracked (42) -- a breakout -- and the results announced (44), so the casting is auspicious that the canucks will win. (I know hardly anything about ice hockey.)

Alas..... 44 was too strong an influence. the blessing was there but they literally could not control the puck, it looked like they were skating on water not ice.

again the refs were clearly bias, and I'm not joking....problem is all the ref's are american, they even called a goal that a bruins player pushed in with his body....illegal!!!!!!

Back to 44 though it seriously looked like they were having their essence sucked out of them. Every single penalty was on a canucks player, and it had been like this the previous 6 games too.

They kept pushing for a goal but thats all that happened, pushing and hoping, but not one goal.

the last minutes they just skated around their goal with the puck biding time til the whistle blew.

And the crowd was barely a hub bub, a low moan of crushed hopes as they all stood up in their blue jerseys and swung their white flags.

The horn blew the teams went back to the sidelines and the camera hovered over the faces of the canucks, stiff lips, uncomprehending and then almost all at the same time you could see their chests collapsing with the weight of failure and they started to weep.

Its been 17 years since they've even been in the running to win the cup, and as I mentioned 40 since they last won. They just wanted it too much and after the whole series of being constantly penalised, the pressure to win and physical exhaustion not to mention a plethora of major injuries, they couldn't do it. Their bodies have been tortured, their careers thrown into question and their souls crushed.

Its was difficult to watch their faces. People have begun to riot in Vancouver, everyone just wanted it too much.

I have read here in some of the many threads of 44 that some people have had good outcomes associated with this hex, but I have yet to experience that. Is that really true, is there some way to embrace the energy of 44 in a way that doesnt leave you either bereft or sour etc. ?

I wonder if 42.1, 2, 3,4 > 44 could have predicted the current riots in ole Vancity ... ??? The energy is VERY aggressive right now in the streets of my little city.

true, its very emotionally charged. I'm all the way in australia but the few canadians here with me have turned agressive and are fighting with each other, I'm suppose to have dinner with them but have just declined.

I just want to say that I am embarrassed to be Canadian right now. What a bunch of sore losers. No need for rioting and destroying things.
Ya lost. So? Suck it up. It's only a game!
It is not like Canadians at all and many are stunned. It was mentioned on FOX News this morning in Detroit. Not at all like Canadians they said.
I realize it is only a select "few" of idiots but still, it made headline news.
Ridiculous.

hahah, thanks, I think its because I've been reading born to run.

Jamara, yeah the riots were a bad show, but its the dark side of that laid back canadian persona. My brother in law and I were talking about it tonight, australians are quite similar, its the result of never quite making it up to international standards of alway just falling a little shorter than the big guys. On mass in such a situation, on a lunar eclipse, its not surprising that a riot broke out. Also those involved for the most part would have been quite young in the '94 riots and so have that in their minds as a kind of legend, so prob wanted to emulate it in a way.

for the most part though, it was fairly tame compared to riots in countries with deep repression and abject realities... it still was more canadian than not.

If countries are going to run major sporting events they need to create rituals after the games in order to contain the intense emotions of the crowds.

I asked yi why did i get so into the game (i couldnt function for the whole day afterwards) when I'm not really that into hockey and I got 45.2 > 47 (i got sucked in!!!). 45 certainly is the hex i think of with mob mentality (the darker side of 45).

Vancouver just really needs to win it next time, and I really believe that the state of mind of the 'group' that is behind them is an integral factor. every other team won their games in their home city. They could have won that game.

Hey ChingChing.

They were saying on the news this morning that most of the idiots were actually anarchists disguised as Canuck fans and they came equipped and ready with fire
extinguishers and all.
They showed up in Toronto not long ago at the World Summit remember?
Crazy stuff.
