Now I know that smoking is bad for my health and I do intend to give up. Maybe it's not the best of questions to ask but an unchanging 42 is the answer recieved.

Any ideas on this reading?

Yes I suppose so.

Of the 3 questions I have put to Yi I have recieved obvious answers, answers I knew all along but that I needed reassurances with.

I need to feed Yi a really juicy one. :)

hi olliep

I understand 42 as being conditional gain. Here I think the emphasis is on conditional. So a condition might come back to you as: name 10 specific ways you would gain by not smoking. I'd bet you could do that quickly and easily.

Thing is, even having the guts to entertain quitting is already a huge increase.

For me, believing I could was the hardest part. Once I was believed, the rest simply meant replacing the legs of the tables and chairs, I'd gnawed off. Oh, and of seeing my refrigerator as a giant pack of Marlboro Lights. Once you face there's gonna be some suffering involved, and go forward anyway, you're practically already there. The benefits show up very quickly, almost immediately.. and that kept me going, literally.

Hi olliep, Sounds to me that if you get a plan happening to work with eg. replacing the smoking with a positive thing, like going through a ritual like walking into the kitchen, getting a glass out of the cupboard, filling it with water, drinking it then walking around the block once or similar and going through the the water ritual again every time you feel like a cigarette. - Liss
