44.1 to 1 an important examination

Hi to all and thank you for being here I have an important examination (sorry for my english) tomorrow: I have to show to a director an essay of my new film, 10 minutes that I have to edit from now to tomorrow.
To have some indication on how to work to get the better results and give a good impression, I'have asked: what shall I do to succeed? and the answer was 44.1 to 1.
But I am not sure to understand the answer: have I to be more precise and rational in my editing or have I to be more creative?

hey, what happened with your interview? I would read your answer as to not be pushy or brag or get too agitated about this . . put your best foot forward and not rush into results or profits here - good luck!

I think the line said that you're too eager to submit your film (if you cannot control your deadline then it might mean that you're out of time). Check every bit of it and try to improve it the best you can.

Hi altair139, I did not choose the deadline, it was given by the tutor and it I have been wise, I would have refuse it because it's not a professional way to work. Anyway, the trial was seen and it was good but the tutor was a little bit nasty with me. So keeping in mind the 44.1 I did not married him: I thank him for his suggestions but kept in mind also my way of filming. And probably 1, which means creativity will push me to find another creative solution....hoping that the nasty message do not le me fall in a bad mood ....

What is interesting is that now, when I asked what is the out coming, the answer was 63.3 to 3, that I again think is a push to be creative and new.
