Hello again people of the forum:
The friend I am staying with temporarily asked for a reading about their sadness last week.
I cast 45.2.5.6>64
I read them the lines and left it open to interpretation but my hunch was it was about their attitude about work/success.
I can share more context if needed.
Recently there has been resentment building under the surface that needs to be addressed.
It's a familiar situation where I read off their red flags of being unempathetic, one-upping or lacking humility/respect for others, and use those as a reason to avoid setting boundaries and "ice out. But I have changed since last round of this dynamic, and know this would be hurtful to them. I want to address my feelings directly instead of secretly judging them or playing victim, but it's new territory and leaves a knot in my stomach. I tend to see deep into people's psychological motivations and that is not always appropriate to bring up. So I asked the Yi for guidance.
I asked the Yi what is the situation, and received 29 UC.
Then I asked "what form should my talk with X take?"
45.1.5.6>21
Every time I get 21 it means "hard talks" and biting down on the truth.
45 is still elusive to me. In 44 there is a powerful force one shouldn't "marry"....in 46 there is a sprout pushing upward, it almost feels as though this section of hexagrams is reproductive, in which case 45 makes me think of the fetus or sapling being "knit together" in the womb or ground, gathering strength before 46's pushing up. Perhaps we are forming one another's characters somehow.
It's interesting 45.5 and 45.6 have come up twice. 45..5 being sincere...
45.6....expressing frustration, crying it out...
Whatever this energy is between us and around them, I need to get clear on it, and set boundaries in the situation in order to focus on my own 46 Pushing Upward plans.
