I recently started med management. My first appt led to a surprising diagnosis & prescription. I talked to friends with the same disagnosis about the medication and their response was mixed, but helped me understand some of the risks, benefits and side effects. I felt apprehensive of one side effect in particular.
after several weeks on this medication, some of my worst symptoms have diminished (delightful), but the feared side effect is making life rather miserable. Its as if pushing down the symptoms chemically creates a frenetic energy in my body, and I can hardly sleep.
When I first got the prescription, I asked Yi:
"Show me a picture of the effect of this medication on me"
received 49.3.4.5

I have a follow up appointment tomorrow and am considering either switching or requesting to add a medication for the side effect, as I feel the diagnosis I received was only partially correct.
My interpretation of this cast is that...maybe it will take three tries of different medication to find the right kind?
Or three attempts at persuading the 'authorities' at this clinic.

Regardless, it seems a good cast, line 6 makes me think that meds are a good step towards a full transformation of my life, getting back to "myself" though not sufficient.

Does this seem like a reliable interpretation?

As an aside, thank you to all who have been responding to my many threads. The community here has helped me feel all the less alone in some of my struggles, and is beautiful to witness in action.

The picture of the effect of this medication is 'Abolishing the Old' it's 'Needing'
Maybe a picture that you will be best served to focus on what you need to tackle you ailments... and not so much on what you want.
Lines 3,4 and 5 are all active lines changing to passive i.e. being accepting emotionally, accommodating in your behaviours and following your purpose.
49.3 - the internal battle that still tries to direct your thoughts and behaviours.
49.4 - choosing and preparing to advance from a position of settlement and peace.
49.5 - when the time is right the you will know what choices to make.

The deeper guidance in all this is coming from Hex 44 (nuclear) from where you are being challenged to make a clear decision based in your truth and then to communicate this to all around you.

..or the reading may meaning nothing like this at all for you.

Take Care.

Thank you, my_key.
with your interpretation...the Yi might have answered about a situation that is preoccupying my mind and causing the emotional turmoil this medication is trying to address.
I did have them switch me to Med #2 with less unbearable side effects and we will see how it goes.

when you say focusing on what I need to tackle ailments...not what I want....do you think the Yi was subtly hinting at my motivations for taking this medication being 'off'? Because that could make sense, like it would serve better to really focus on my own peace rather than 'fixing' myself to get a certain outcome or please somebody by reducing my moods.

This would actually fit very well as I did tell the nurse I'd prefer meds that addressed my concentration issues for the sake of making art, not ones that target my emotions, which I suspect are out of balance due to past issues that need to be addressed & a very difficult life situation.

The reading is yours and it is your responsibility to make of it what you will. I am not close enough to your inner world to be able to comment on the subtleties that are dancing around in there. Only you are.
However, I will say it's always a good step to trust your own insights and the feelings and sensations within your own body.

Take care.
