I asked about how someone's opinion of me is being affected by something that's going on...something which is rather negative. I was wondering if his opinion of me was being negatively influenced by this.

50 is one of those hexagrams that make me groan out loud when I receive it. I almost never know how to interpret it. However, in this case my question was about how something is perhaps being changed or altered by something else. That seems pretty hex 50 to me.

50.4 makes me worry a bit. Am I the person who soiled the duke? I would say that this is not a favorable line and may indicate that his opinion of me is indeed being negatively affected by this. I'm not entirely sure about this line though. It seems to be about someone getting publically humiliated because someone else is careless.

50.6 seems like a very good line though.

50 in general isn't a bad sex and neither is 46. Is this having a negative impact on his opinion of me or not?

Hex 50.4 this says that you are faced with a difficult problem and not dealing with it correctly, you seem to be losing the battle, or your making promises that you can't keep, and your struggles disappoints/saddens your friend.

Hex 50.6 you are trying to help others, doing what you are doing for the right reasons, and now your friend sees that and all is well.

Hex 46 pushing up, you are okay in his books, your continued effort in this matter will only produce a warm and positive feeling in your friend, he will see the good.
