51.1 to 16 Will I see friend again?

Friends live about 2000 miles away and plane tickets and hotels are just way out of reach at the moment. And I asked the Iching what is the possibility of ever seeing them again? I was always under the impression when 16 showed up it was not to get hopes up, but the end of 51.1 says good fortune. Would somebody like to help me out on this?

I think of 16. Enthusiasm as a positive hexagram, particularly for this question. It suggests a lot of people together. Think of 15. as a picture of the modest soul walking along their path doing their own thing and then the camera pulls back and you see there is a whole world of people walking along doing their own thing but from the larger perspective you see that it's a huge well co-ordinated celebration. I think of those halftime displays at football games where the drill team does card tricks where they spell out words by each person holding a single card. Anyway, getting this hexagram for your question about seeing a friend again makes me think you two are all a part of the same circus so that should be favorable. 51.1 means SHOCK! so perhaps you will suddenly have an unexpected opportunity to re-connect, in fact you just might run into each other on the street sometime! Meanwhile, do you have Skype or FaceTime? Talking on line really is almost as good as a visit.

Thanks Rosada. At least it gives me some hope. When we were both involved in the same activity, the scenerio you discribed would have been totally true. (The drill team isn't far off from that activity.) Now, everyone is older. Somebody is going to have to fly, drive ... something. And yes, it would be a total shock! A good one too!
