Hi lovely people

need some help with this one.

I asked "what made me be such an idiot" referring to my feelings and obsessive behaviour over someone for the past several months. I truly wasn't able to help myself and totally didn't see the truth of the situation at the time. I don't really see it now either but at least for the time being I don't feel like I'm under a hostile takeover of emotions so I was able to look back on my actions and see quite clearly that I have shown myself to be obsessive over someone who hardly registers my existence.

So, am I right in that this reading is saying that I experienced an emotional overload I was ill equipped to handle and as a consequence I imagined things which weren't true and ended up behaving as if they were (i.e. I acted like a nutter)
