58 unchanging - past relationship

I've been having a lot of problems getting over my last relationship, and feel that the ex, who was a perfect gentleman for over 1.5 years, seems all of a sudden began to hate me. Even though I let go of the relationship for the most part, I have a hard time getting over the feeling that this person despises me.

I want to know why he hates me so much (so instead of wondering I can process it and move on) I got the hex 58 unchanging. I'm confused about the possible implications of 58 in this situation.

I also did two follows ups. The first was what I can do to get over him and I got 22 unchanging. I guess this means I should focus on making myself attractive and happy? I also asked if we will get back together within the next year (the typical girl question ) and received hex 53 unchanging. This one I'm really confused about because it says slow progress and talk about marriage.. is this suggesting that we will be actually getting back together because I would say that seems impossible at the moment.

Also, with all the unchanging hexs - does that imply the situation will not change?

As suggested in the sticky, I've slept on this and have thought about the reading. I am wondering if hex 58 (joy) is trying to tell me more about myself - that I based too much of my happiness of him - rather than about him.

I'm still thinking about the meaning of the other two.

Also, I'm confused about the significance of changing v. unchanging hexs.

Can someone pls help?

Readings aside ...really don't focus on why he seems to hate you...it doesn't help process anything...I feel the readings kind of bear this out...they aren't asking you to search for all the causes of what hes feeling...who knows

Yi seems to be saying to celebrate who you are, in both 58 and 22. You see you describe a heavy situation where you search inwardly for any hidden misdeed or character defect...or something...that made him hate you, apparently, and Yi says 'you go and enjoy yourself !' If you are a young woman this is especially relevant, trigram lake being youngest daughter.....When a hex is unchanging its good to pay especial attention to the Image of the text

Sounds to me like don't internalise this...talk to friends, enjoy. entirely dismiss the idea you did anything wrong. Leave him to figure the reasons he despises you.

He may need to despise you if he wants to justify breaking up...who knows...not your problem.

Hex 22 unchanging can indicate you are only able to see so far in this, you may not be able to see him very deeply. Was the 'perfect gentleman' a veneer in the end ? More plainly as you say it can be celebrate yourself, dress up, buy new makeup etc etc be beautiful and don't entertain any suggestion that you are less than beautiful...of course you are !

53 is very gradual...I mean veeery gradual. It may not refer to him but to your overall progress to relationship, I don't know...but overall I just think you should try to have a nice time and not worry not very deep advice just an instruction to have fun.
