60.3>5 and 15.1.2>11

I've said I'll help a friend with some interpretations but I've found myself struggling as one question was time related. Can anybody here put a time frame on hexagrams?

Her first question was 'What obstacles are preventing development?' 60.3>5 This I understand as a lack of limitations and possible excess is a problem. That would apply to the situation but any other ideas would be appreciated.

The one I'm wrestling with is 'When will I move forward?' 15.1.2>11 Modesty.
line 1 - success if modesty and discipline are employed. Have a give and take attitude
line 2 - help from others if modesty and discipline are employed. Stay true to yourself. Others will react positively to expression of your true inner values.

The response also fits quite nicely with the earlier 60.3>5 but the question remains... When?

I'd appreciate any suggestions or experience in applying time frames.

I have no experience with time frames, but I figure it couldn't hurt to give you my impression of what this says. Hexagram 11 talks about a time of prosperity, but one that needs to be regulated in time and place. So, this suggests that the move forward will be gradual, and probably won't happen overnight. 15.1 suggests your friend keep things simple. Don't try to move forward all at once. 15.2 talks about an expression of inner truth that happens quite naturally. Reads to me like you can't force the move forward. When one has moved forward in their heart, they can express this outwardly, and this will have a lasting effect, moving their life in the direction they would like to see it go in. The excess in 60>5 could be that your friend is trying to move forward too quickly, handling too many issues simultaneously. Also, 5 is patient waiting. Sounds like it will take some time to me, but I have no idea on how to pinpoint dates etc. What does come across to me is it sounds like as your friend lets things go piece by piece, a little at a time(15), something new and prosperous will enter to fill that void as well, but a little at a time(11). 15.2 reads that the final move forward will arise from within her, out of her own fullness, her own heart. But it will take some time for her to get to that point. So, sounds like a big process to get rid of some baggage and refill her heart... Hopes, dreams, peace maybe... Hope this helps you somehow. Just my impression.

I don't ask questions relating to time for this very reason. I suppose we can look at it as the 'when' will be WHEN all of these things are in place.

If there is anyone out there with any tips on assigning timeframes to hexagrams, your input would be valued by many
