I was reading 63.5 about the small spring offering (seeds?) being more valued than the (fall?) offering of a full grown ox and it seems to me to be a variation of the motto "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime" slightly reworked:
"Give a man an Ox and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to farm and he'll eat for a lifetime."

I was just working on a blog post about the spring offering, and this one might be seeds - that word translated as 'truly' or 'real' also means 'fruit' or 'seed'. And this fits with the theme of the hexagram that beginnings are good fortune, endings mean chaos. (Blog post coming shortly!)
